Are you saying we can fix the back button for our remote throu generic.kl, because i've been trying for the last two days. changed everything i could, even made my own vendorID/productID files for my mele f10 pro remote for .kl and .kph still nothing... or are you saying that only a mouse with a back button can do back function? i love your rom btw thank you, but without a back button my remote sucks, and i hate the on screen back/home/recent buttons taking up room, so i fullscreen them. i hope you can hit this.

so be sure to use terminal with logcat comand to backtrace the problem.
there is no need to sign the apk.
you can but esier is just to open the compiled apk (unsigned) with 7zip
and copy android manifest and meta-inf folder from orginal setting.apk
also you cant delete some xml text lines becouse you get fc, do 1 by 1 to test.
if you have any question just ask
im doing alot of changes to settings.apk latly
EDIT been doing some work with framework-res and settings.apk and made some changes, I removed the Navigation bar while still keeping the system bar since I really have no need for home back or menu buttons on screen and was able to keep screenshot functionality by using Screenshot UX https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...tuxtrial&hl=en

I also removed the Battery and HDMI menu as well as the Brightness slider from display as these do nothing on this rom.

4. Change the file to contain (just) the following text (without the quotation marks): "1920x1080p-50" (or 1920x1080p-60 if you prefer to have 60Hz refresh rate)
5. Save (the new mode will take effect immediately)

Get a terminal with root access (Terminal Emulator or adb shell, shouldn't matter), then type the following:
Code:echo 1920x1080p-60 > /sys/devices/virtual/display/display0.HDMI/mode

It is OK to remount sys as RW just make sure to remount it RO when done!
Leaving it mounted as RW is where you get in trouble.

Bob
Is there any chance to see new roms for T428 from you soon? It's been a while since you gave us your piece of art.
Thank you!

I am getting back into it now that my health issues are getting better. So sure... I plan to update all my ROMs in some way.
Sorry to be out so long folks. If you ever have had a sever sciatic nerve issue, you will know what I mean. The drugs they had me on did not allow me to even think properly enough to do a ROM. Then just the pain alone even with drugs, I could not sit in one place longer than 30 minutes.
Anyway, it WAY better now so I am getting back to it.
