I tried the soundabout app that you sugested and it did rerouted the mic to the webcam and the default camera app work for taking pictures, video and sound. But the thing is that when I try and use it with Skype or Hangouts it just simply does not bring any video on Hangaouts, the mic does work and Skype completly stops working when I make a video call. End result is that video conferencing is not working. Can you be kind enough to work out this situiation.

I realy love your Rom because I use HULU a lot and is the only ROM out there that support HULU or any other app on the play store. Hell I even use a vpn connection with you ROM. So for the most part evrything is working but skype and hangouts are missing something with your ROM for them to work. If you achive this, this will be 100% working rom. At least for what I use it for.

This skype/hangouts glitch has to be workable as I was able to use both with my webcams C170 and C270 with Finless ROM 1.5 on this same T428 stick.

Just got the mele f10 pro remote and the soundabout app switched the output between the remote and hdmi just fine, but my problem is with the mic.
I downloaded a sound recorder app and the mic records fine and its clear, but when I use an app like Skype, talkatone or viber the mic either doesn't work or the sounds comes out choppy, distorted or high pitched

On a side note, streaming google music to the remote and then to the attached headphones is very cool!

the problem is that i don't have this webcam to test on.
can you attach me some logcat when skype stop working ?

have you aleady tested with the kernel of Finless ROM 1.5, to see if it is a kernel problem or some files missing in the system img ?

Whenever I un-check the "Multi Window Buton Show" checkbox in the settings, it stays off for a while but then certain apps (mainly non-multi window enabled apps) cause it to pop back up again and when I look, the box for this setting is once again checked.

Edit the build.prop, there's a property for multi-windows, set it to false. After that, it won't bug you any more

I'm not sure if this helps you but webcam support works perfectly in the Lewy's HFW v1.2.0. It has to do with the system.img and not the kernel.

Sorry guys I have a dumb question, I flashed this rom it works great but noticed there's no power button to turn off the t428 and how come there's two taskbars one on the top and bottom, can we have just one?

Well I flashed the multiwindow rom and no chance of booting on the mk802iv, just black screen. Is there anyone who has managed to run successfully this rom on mk802iv. Thx in advanvce

I have read that using kernels that have their own video stutter fix can cause trouble resp. Performance breakdown in conjunction with the nexus rom. So which one would you sugest?
