    Hi,

I was thinking of getting an RK3399 box. But my application needs to be bale to write to /dev/graphics/fb0. Is this possible for RK3399 device ?. A good way to check it is as follows:
    cat /dev/urandom > /dev/graphocs/fb0
You need to be root to do this. If you see random pixels on thescreen then it works. If not it means this feature is not supported.
Can someone run this test ?

    Thanks
    Vasant

Thanks for checking. I just bought myself an Asus Tinker Board and I cannot write to /dev/graphics/fb0 and there is no mali.ko kernel module either. I could write to /dev/graphics/fb0 on the older Android RK3288 KitKat systems. Looks like they are now using libdrm. This needs further investigation.

Seems to me the Android on RK3399 is still buggy. Also at this point they should be going with Noughat. I will wait and see how this pans out.

Thanks for this ROM and please go to the end with her save this Box Tv

Already working with KODI 17? The original rom locks everything in KODI 17 In your video the tests were in kodi 16. Even performance on the 17th?

Does the external DVD-ROM ASUS work on this firmware?

I have a problem when trying to flash new ROM. I have an error: "Download IDB Fail."
I have the Yundoo y8 2GB/16GB version. Any idea what is a problem and how to solve it?
                                Please HELP.
