I installed the H96 Max 4G Ram, 32 GB Rom device google player storeden supersu.
My device did not turn on again (stayed in the MBOX post).
I had to install a new Software.
But what software I have installed does not work wifi.
I could not find the rk3399_hcy_7.1.2_528_40M_171016 software that your friend mentioned.

i never had problems like this. maybe turn the back light on your tv higher. play with the kontrast.
deactivate "eco" mode and change to dynamic, on your tv.

I have a H96MAX 4GB / 32GB 7.1.2 Nougat and it is connected via ethernet cable. The problem is when I'm watching movies or tv shows (terrarium, kodi, etc.) and there is a dark scene, the picture seems to dim a it gets hard to see. Can I have some help on this. Thanks

Have tried too close those two contacts with no success The box goes black but the computer still won't recognize my box.

did you press the reset button inside the 3.5 headphone jack, while connecting to the pc?
the windows drivers already installed?
what kind of male to male adapter do you use? did you connect to the blue usb port?
has your pc usb port more then 500mAh power output? a lot of questions...

Yes,yes,yes. I use same cable as I did before when I tried to upgrade the firmware. 2.0 male to male USB cable.
Of course I connected to the blue usb port. Don't now about the power output, but the computer recognized the box when I tried to update earlier. Device must be bricked.

Have someone found a way to unbrick H96 MAX yet? Tried to upgrade mine, but now there's only red light from the S/PDIF port. My computer don't recognize my box.
Is there a fix for my problem?

Any firmware supporting voice input? I bought a new remote that has a mic built-in, but neither youtube nor google assistant responds to my voice.

the procedure is easy and you can do nothing wrong. (press the right radio button (RESTORE) and try the oktober stock firmware first)
i think that your usb connection will fail. if you have a second computer/laptop, plz try this.
are you shure that your usb male to male adapter will work propperly?

if the flashtool will finish with 100%, disconnect the box and start it. first start may 5-10 minutes booting...
be patience, dont interrupt it. but if it will take more time than 10 minutes, it is failed.

(info: i startet the 1.45e version and bitdefender (antivirus) locked it... what a crap. use an older version, for oktober firmware. its no problem. only the dezember firmware will only work with the 1.45 version)

i saw the video, you have posted... at minute 0:30 i saw that he connected the power cord....
that is not requirred. the box will be powered over the usb cable.

insert and hold the toothpick first, and then connect the usb cable. wait if you hear the ping sound on your pc and release the tooth pick. thats all. and the russian video guy does not realease the toothpick. it seems to be work.
but it is not the procedure how i will do it.

AND PLEASE FLASH OKTOBER FIRMWARE, NOT THE DEZEMBER FIRMWARE IN THE VIDEO.
Many people having problems with the dezember firmware, linked in the video.
They stuck on boot, read the last pages here in this threat.
