I've flashed M8S_PRO-V0619_Nano-20171103.img everything seems to be working ok so far but I have come across a problem with live wallpapers.
I have installed several different live wallpapers.
They install without errors and come up in the wall paper picker for selection but when I click on them I get "app not installed" error.
Anyone else getting this???

Guest no, I haven't had any luck with the rom you pointed me @ post #130.1
Both script edited attempts, and any others throw an error code 7.
All I can think is I need to remove any reference to the buildprop from the update? Or is it possible to find my buildprop parameters in my remaining files.
Confirming what specific device detail is the target.
Idk if that's possiprobly? I've read a bit re: e#7, but hoping for your direction.
++ Again, I believe I repacked zip for "m8sPro" properly....

The reboot on wake from sleep is listed in the Known Issues section of the release notes. It's been a longstanding problem with these VideoStrong firmware releases.

Hello! Can someone tell me how to properly activate sleep/standby function with 0321 Stock version of this ROM, because now when I press the power button on my remote it turns the box completely off...

And my other question is - which rom is better 0321 or 0619?
Because with OEM 0619 I have spontaneous artifacts in video playing (Kodi, media player) , but not in 0321...

Thank you Mag, but really i didnt understand a lot.

Have you deodexed the source LiveWallpapersPicker.apk? (There should be no "oat" subdirectory.) Also, check the SELINUX permissions (object_r:system_file:s0).

I downloaded the last version of LiveWallpapersPicker.apk and copied it into the /system/app and gave the right permisions (rw-r-r), with es explorer but anytime i am trying to set a livewall paper, it crashes. Am i doing something wrong? What other version should i try? Any tip?
Do you think is a firmware problem or it can be fixed somehow?

I use on the same box kodi, spmc & ftmc with three different builds (testing and playing) and i like ftmc more. Until know, it's useless.

I have used FTMC on my Rockchip boxes, but always the store version of Kodi on these newer Amlogic boxes. SPMC, would not passthrough HD Audio on this box.

One strange thing i noticed after the update (as told in #137).
i use the last version of FTMC for some months now without any issue. Yesterday, it was the first time i used it (after the update) and the UI of ftmc is in 1280x720 resolution, so all videos i tried (no matter what resolution they are), played in a small square , upleft on my 43" uhd tv screen. I cannot change the ui into fhd or uhd because there is no option in ftmc settings. The same happened in SPMC, but it was possible to change the ui , so the video played in full screen. No problems detected in original kodi. Is there something i can do, because ftmc is my favorite?

P.s. I unistalled and installed ftmc some times, reboot the box some times, i disconnected and connected hdmi sometimes but no fix!
