it looks like it is DDR3 , i search for the ChipNr. , big G says it is DDR3 , so please try a

DDR3 FW next , did u try it with Batchtool or AT2.35 ??? , please try BTool too and do

not flash the .img from Desktop , make a Folder on your HardDrive , better .

Did you run the Tools and Driver install as Admin ??? please buy a better Powersupply ,

with 5V/3000mah , this Boxes run better with a little bit more "mah" , report .

If you plan on using a 4k tv... nop is not good!

a better Powersupply can fix this maybe ??? . 5V/3000mah shall be good ,

but does your Box support the Disk Format you use ??? ,

others bought Powersupplys for better Stability . good luck / gefattern

the stock firmware (i dont know the build) run seagate 2tb 2.5 ext drive using ntfs, but the 1701721 build shuts down / restart when i connect the drive with 2.5A psu. ill try the 3A psu as soon it arrive.

2.5A noname China = 1-1.5A certified.
3A noname China = 1.5-2A certified.

All the same at the limit will be.
Need to buy at 4-5A to forget about problems with the power supply.

Friends at home I use tv Samsung LE37C530F1W LCD tv, H96 Max device box Android 7.1.2 version. As I pulled out of the box and no playing with the setting I tried, but I couldn't get the sound in any way. HDMI cables with a different cable this experiment I am suspecting did. The result is the same.

Moreover, it is a different model apparatus LCD TV using HDMİ cable to both. No device problem. ...

H96 MAX with my taking a different satellite device bring together I came home. I upgraded my tv software and I'm back to factory settings. When I brought with me the other I tried both HDMİ cable satellite device. The result is perfectly normal, no problem.

H96 MAX is the same problem when I try to tie. Image, but there's no sound again.

My box has gone the same way as teters01 by the looks of it, I flashed the H96 max (4GB RAM 32GB ROM) with the superceleron firmware. It applied to the box fine using the toothpick method and RockChip_FactoryTool_v1.39 and I was happily going through the GUI of the new firmware, then I decided to do a reboot on the box as a test, so I pressed the power on the remote, it looked like it had gone into sleep mode, pressed it again to bring it back, nothing, power cycle, nothing. When you power it the power led appears for about 7 seconds then disappears, I tried the toothpick method again, it sometimes finds the box for as long as the power led is active but it never lasts long enough to do a firmware upgrade. I presume the box must have somehow been bricked even after the firmware applied successfully. My box's pcb board looks the same as teters01's pcb but I don't know which pins to short for maskrom or if there is another way to fix it. If anyone can help.

I gave up reviving my h96 max. Even if you do the short pin method it will still not work.

Not yet dead if it can connect to pc and reflash firmware. So Update rockchip driver to latest version and then use toothpick method to try to update again using firmware 6.0. Use power adapter while you update the firmware.
