have a question about sound output.
can i use the cvbs output ..at the back of the box with logitech computer speakers .( am at a loss to find out which type of plug goes in there... or is it a proper toslink type socket

Edited file as suggested and I think it is working now. Can re-enable Amcodec - Still have to disable MediaCodec(Surface) for HEVC playback.

is there any way to clear all content and install the nexux rom all over, i have a client that wants to buy my testing unit so i must clear it

Turning off amcodec worked for h264 but had to turn off Mediacodec (Surface) as well to get HEVC 10bit to work.

Doing a little sleuthing, knowing that it only crashes while attempting to PLAY a video, I went into settings and turned off hardware acelleration and a couple of other settings related to the Video play back. Now it is playing fine. I did not check each item at a time to see which one is causing the problem......

BUT it does play.

Under Video settings >> acceleration, it is the amcodec that is the culprit causing the crashing, deselect it and it will play fine. But for me, it will not passthough my HD audio.

KODI seems to run OK, but I liked a few of the setup options in SPMC

Installed SPMC from the Google Play Store, and it installed OK, and scrapped some videos. But, the same as you have discovered, it crashes when trying to play a video.

I am running the Kodi Leia development builds and have no problem at all........ Have not tried SPMC, last time I tried it, I could not get HD audio from it.
