This version of the "L" box seems to run a LOT cooler, have you noticed that???

I'll have another look today now I have reset and started again.
New OEM FW seems good so far. Must be a special version for the BT remote boxes I guess, with the new First Start sequence.
More Magendanz than ever, but oddly large Icons in the App Drawer and places ??
Includes AptoideTV out of the box which is good (and some bloatish-ware!!)

I have no problem with Netflix in 1080p, except one TV, cant connect with HDCP. No Netflix at all. Try on a different TV or different HDMI cable.

DRM seems to be ok
Apps are update (netflix and the others)

Doesn't seem to do Voice when paired with my Magendanz ATV L Box but may not be latest update ....

Hah, couldn't get the BT Voice Remote to pair either until Clarkss12 helped me out, but still sketchy so I did a Default Reset and guess what ? A First Run splash setup saying Press (-) and (OK) on Remote etc.
My box hadn't been reset from the factory after build testing ....
Easier life when you get the helpful start screen.

For those that purchased the Mecool M8S Pro L with Bluetooth Voice Remote, this is how to enable the Bluetooth. After a lot of trial and error, I finally figured out how to get the remote to connect as a Bluetooth device. Go into "More Settings" then "Bluetooth" and enable it. Now hold the center "OK" button at the same time you will depress the volume down button "-" button. It will connect as RemoterATV3. Everything works with Bluetooth including the Voice button.

I purchased this product in 2017. At that time, MECOOL's custom OS and launcher were installed. If I purchase again now, is the pure Android TV OS installed? looks like mibox or nexux

Pro L now comes with V9xx FW which is a version of Android TV with the Leanback Launcher.
It now includes AptoidTV and an Apps Folder so that you can sideload out of the box.

If you want the old Mecool Launcher you have to go back to V3xx or V6xx OEM FW (some later may be Mecool "look" but ATV base ??)

You can install Magendanz Nexus Stock or Nano for a phone like interface.
