Can someone here confirm that Netflix runs in 1080p? And maybe Amazon Prime Video? (in German) I'm looking for a cheap Android solution. Since there seems to be a better wifi and Bluetooth, it may be the better solution than the MECOOL M8S Pro +. Many Thanks.

Wow!! Just received my Mecool M8S Pro L, but will not play Netflix at all. Looking at DRM info, it has Widevine Level 1, which is great, HOWEVER, the HDCP level is UNPROTECTED. Does all your boxes have the HDCP level supported???????????

Mine does have HDCP Leve-1.x. I bought mine from gearbest.

After all the aggravation I went thru to get my Rosie the Robot, I love it. Gotta keep her away from my boxes, though........ Of course, my pile of boxes is getting larger and larger.

I do hope Gearbest can resolve my issue..

The sad part, I was making a video showing what a great box it was, but could NOT get Netflix to play............ Then I discovered that it did not support HDCP........

I just received my box after trying to decide for months what to buy. This one seemed to have it all and with my new Netflix subscription I was happy.

Before I open my package how would I check the DRM info so I know if I should send it back if it indeed does not support Netflix like advertised.

I thought Mecool was a good company to purchase from?

Your box comes with the DRMinfo app already installed. You have to connect your box to your tv, that is the only way you will know.
