If you are trying to do the PCB short method on the eMMC then you need to attach to computer and use USB Burn Tool I believe !?!

Best to try the USB Burn Tool and the Reset Switch Short method first.

Load USB Burn Tool.
Switch to English (Menu Bar button 2 - Item "English")
Load an IMG File
Click START
Connect USB A-A male cable (No power supply to box) while shorting RESET SW
Tool should detect Box and start a ROM Burn ......

That looks like the right method now.
Can't read the screen, but doesn't look correct for recovery

The message is just a warning that is no device connected to the LCD

Wrong.
You have to press and Hold the button while you put the power plug into the box (or switch the mains on)
This never worked for me and more reliable is short switch pins while inserting power plug and keep shorted for at least 7 seconds.
(Left front switch pin to right pin)

I've tried now to press and hold while i powered it on but the result was the same.

The result was allways the blue LED light and a black screen... I've putted the twrp i've shown you and also many others... I think my bootloader is messed up, i don't know if yours were to.

just follow the method I talked about earlier.. press the recent apps button many times while pluging the power.. am sure it will work.. just don't forget to rename the recovery file to recovery.img and put it on the SD card.

Ok Guest i tried shorting the 6-7 pin, 7-8 pin, the 17-18 pin counting left side (as you said it works on your Mecool M8S Pro) and i did it with power cable + USB male to male... Also recognises by the USB burning tool but gives me the same error:

But Guest i already tried to use USB Burning Tool and shunt the reset pins but nothing happens and there's no diference because the USB Burning Tool recognises the box. I've tried to flash this firmware "M8S_PRO_L-V0928_TVStock-20180109", also this one: "M8S_PRO_L-NHG47L-20171216.102705.V0928" and also this one: "M8S_PRO_L-V0928_TVStock-20171202" and the result is allways the same when i hit enter:

This is what you do after you've corrupted your bootloader. It's really meant as a last resort, but it's saved my bacon many times.

I took the .kl file of a2 lite from the minix forums and copied it to my box but nothing changed. I think something else must be changed because the IR button doesnt work through RF like the other buttons on the a2 lite. Maybe something inside the boot.img?

Thankfully, I have never had to short the pins, but it is my understanding, that those are the correct spots to short to get into the masked ROM mode.

Edit: Recovery mode, NOT masked ROM mode.
