is driven by the HDMI out on the SOC. From a ROM/OS stand point they are the same output 'HDMI'. Only no DRM will flow out the Analog YPrBr jack...

I've been lurking since b4 I dropped a hundred on this tab. You guys have been quite helpful.

My first of many questions may have been covered, but I'll ask forgiveness instead of permission and pose the question anyway...

I installed the "old icon market" and am interested in removing it and going with N4RPS's updated market. Should I uninstall the .apk's that I used to install market? or should I just install updated google play via N4RPS's instructions?

I am not sure if uninstalling is required, but I can tell you that when I did N4RPS's method I did uninstall my old market first, and had no problems with it at all.

Cannot connect to internet

I bought the Polaroid PMD701C at Big Lots and I am having difficulty accessing the internet. When I go to the wi-fi settings and select my connection, enter the correct password, I get a message "Scanning, Connecting, Disconnected". Any suggestions?

I have only had problems when..

The only times I have had issues connecting to my router has been when the battery level has been really low. After I let it charge for awhile it has been fine. I have had issues like that on other devices from time to time and I had to power cycle my router and cable modem (I usually do both of them anymore since I had problems with them acting goofy after trying them one at a time a few times).

My battery level is almost full. I tried resetting the router and the modem. No luck.

i do remember one other thing i saw on anothet board

i do remember seeing where someone had the router set for WPA and the tablet set for WEP causing those kinds of problems. one thing if you check that and there are still issues you should open a seperate post for just this issue.

Sorry Bob, I didn't try app injector. A couple of posts earlier I had asked if there would be any problem uninstalling the "old icon market" and usin the n4ps method to install updated market. I was only updating that I was sucessful .

Are you using Netflix, or a downloaded movie file? If downloaded, it may have something with codecs, which I'm not sure theres a fix for as of yet...

Keep an eye on your time and date

Just a heads up, I have noticed from time to time my time and date slip, and the sync over the network option has not been working too well. When it does it gets old enough to throw odd errors like certificate faults, and play store had problems with downloading (probably the same reason).

Unfortunately it happens on both netflix and downloaded movies in xvid format :-(
