      Just wondering (hoping) that my issues with the device are associated with the kernel I am using for the version of hardware I have.

      On every previous version of ROM/Kernel I have never had the problem where the screen would blank out.
      I also tested a 720p movie with XBMC and I have to say the results were something special. Not only was the movie smooth, XBMC shows how much of the movie has been buffered and it ran without interruption - besides the screen blanking.
      Crossing my fingers the new kernel hopefully released today.

            V1 Hardware

            I have the V1 Hardware of the mk908 and the 1080p kernel (mk908-jjhkernel-v3.3-1080p-cool.img). The ROM is realy fast but I see random, white stipes all over the sreen sometimes - How can I fix this? I`ve already installed an other, stronger PSU for my device...

              sounds a issue with the ram
              try a kernel with a lower ram speed
              current devices(rockchip sucks)
              Hardkernel ODROID C1 running android kitkat
              Hardkernel ODROID XU3-L Running Linux/openelec (primary media server)
              rPi model B+ running nothing ... bricked

                added some kernels to the first post that should fix camera support ideally as well as a few other tweaks. It's the link to the V3.5 jjhkernel.

                They work great on my V1 stick.

                      Ok try this. It inits the ram at the standard 400mhz speed. It's antutu score is somewhere around 12-13000 which means it's not screaming fast but also shouldn't generate too much heat.

                        Thank you! The problem is gone - but the stick is now noticeable slower
                        I think the heat is not the problem...
                        I have unfortunately a MK908 with a poor RAM

                          i can make it faster of you want, I just don't know how hot it will get. Was aiming for stability as your ram just might be funky.. let me know!

                            That would be great! Can you make one, with a clock, in the middle of 400Mhz and your setting of the 3.5-Cool kernel?

                                I made a custom rom pack from the most recent minix rom a few days ago. If there's a newer one I had better check it out! Anyway here's the link.
