        Hi hoabycsr,

Thank you for the great ROM and kernels. I flashed mk908-jjhkernel-v3.5-1080p-cool.img.
Finally XBMC works really good with hw decoding, 1080p plays without any lags! (latest test build) But, I can see some artifacts watching movie, maybe it's because of ram overclocking, or maybe it's caused by XBMC by itself? I have only stock cooling, no mods. Also, my BT keyboard doesn't work (microsoft wedge). When I try to pair with it, BT is reseting. I know it's kernel issue, I tried different kernel (kernel_20130821_120352_phja_mk908_1080p_cpu1800_d dr600_vsfphja_vsfsam.img - I can't remember where I found that ), and BT worked fine, but XBMC didn't so I like your more . Also, Perfmon can't read current CPU clock, it shows 1GHz all the time, stock kernel was showed properly.

So thank you very much for your effort. Would you please try to fix those issues?

This kernel can be used with most any custom roms, but likely not the UNIVERSAL one made for V3 sticks.
              Good luck and enjoy!

              Hi there!
I may have experienced a minor flaw of Hoaby's V3.5 kernel 720p fast (mk908, ROM 1.5). Namely, power off button in fact reboots the device (exactly 12 seconds afther the screen goes black). I tested with Reboot App, and it properly shuts down, without rebooting!. Could someone else confirm the same behaviour with this kernel plse? Thanks

I think it's more a problem with the rom this is based on. The minix power button just seems to reboot the mk908 regardless of kernel, as I remember. I never shut down anyways.

Thanks for this info!!! It doesn't bother me at all, really, just thought it might be of some help to your further work. Honestly, my mk908 is just flying now, such a difference to mk808 that for the first time I have a feeling I am running a real computer, not a tv dongle! And heat generation is minimal. MANY THANKS FOR YOUR FANTASTIC WORK!!! G
PS No wonder you never shut down, with this pace of development when would you........

                      Couple of requests

Love all the changes. Google play music subscription doesn't work for me, and I would love to be able to use it. Netflix is still a little buggy. Can you add a feature on the "recently used apps" screen that allows you to slide away ALL open apps instead of the current one, and then a second click closes the most recent (current) window. Paranoid android has this feature. I'm not sure, but does scroll simulate pinch to zoom in google maps? that would be nice too. Thanks!

I have trying 4 different versions of Skype, none of them works.

                          @hoabycsr:
Hi mate, i've just got my rev3 and wanted to try one of your roms.
Which one do you suggest me to try ?
The one from the current topic with the default kernel, the same one here but with another kernel ?
Or even another one from this topic : http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...Download/page2

Thanks a lot for your help.

                          Extra:
Does anyone knows how can i edit the system.img file so i can pack up some rom with apks to make some tests ?

You can use the kernels from the "normal V3 rom" with pretty much any system.img. Mine are all interchangeable anyway. I recommend trying the Normal rom first.. in completion. Just my 2 cents though. I'm working on kernels still for the v3, adding some more device support and whatnot. Still gotta figure out the vrm issue.

I have a V3 hardware and it is working great, the only thing i needed to do is a cooling mod for avoiding shutdowns.

I don't know why it is not suposed to use this kernel on v3 devices.

                                hi hoabycsr

Any chance for new set of kernels with working BT? That's the last thing which will make my stick perfect for daily usage BTW, I have installed last rom from lewy with your fast 1080p kernel, and I need to say GUI is freaking smooth, XBMC GUI is about 55fps and of course it's able to play 1080p movies without stuttering. About wifi, I noticed, it's reseting about every 30min. About cpu scaling, perfmon shows fixed 1.4 Ghz, with cool kernel it showed 1.2Ghz, so maybe cpu doesn't scale at all with your kernel in my device? And last thing, I've just realiesed my stick is V3, but I haven't noticed any big issue. Thank you in advance.

                                cheers!
