Changelog (20171125):

• Fixed Action Bar bug in Settings, and so More Settings is now restored. (Thanks, tillaz87!)
• Removed battery charge icon from status bar.
• Cleaned up text in Settings->Display, clarifying language and fixing misspellings.
• Latest build from Open GApps (20171125)

Known Bugs:

• The underlying OEM firmware doesn't have the ActionBar fix, and so More Settings is disabled. (Hopefully, they'll get it soon.)
• Google Cast service broadcasts and is discoverable from mobile devices, but usually is unable to connect.
• Recommendations will show in the status bar by design. If you want it always hidden, just uncomment "persist.sys.useTvStatusBar=true" in build.prop.
• If holding reset button to boot to recovery, release after 10 seconds and then wait for almost a minute. It will eventually get there.

Unfortunately I was still not able to test this rom on my vorke z6 plus because I cannot find a twrp recovery that works to make a nandroid backup. Do you have an idea of where I can find a valid recovery for z6 plus or similar tv box? Thank you.

Good job and thanks!

After reading couple of threads and my observation, i saw Jancales and Zickler all using your custom ROM and they cant get thru the 2% USB Burning tool. The reason i think Jancales setup another thread saying his is Vorke Z6 Plus using DDR3 which coincidentally the same h/w as TX9 Pro 3GB / DDR3 32GM. As your build is for DDR4 - Vorke Z6. That's why it doesn't work with USB Burning.

My main request is can you prepare VORKE Z6 plus leanback ROM?

Okay, it seems the u-boot binaries for the Z6 are incompatible with the Z6+. What you need to do is open the Z6+ burn package with Amlogic's USB Customization Tool, checking only the box to "Replace Uboot/Kernel". Then copy over the *.PARTITION files from the /level1 directory from the Z6 burn package, replacing the OEM ones. Finally, repack.

Alternatively, you could just install the OTA update. Those don't use u-boot binaries, and the update script is only looking for the "q201" reference board.

Sorry for the noob question, but is there a way to read exFat external drives? Is it a software or hardware limitation of the vorke?

It works for me. However, I notice that it's *much* slower than FAT32.

I'm sorry for the noobie question but I wanted to know if flashing these Android TV versions of the ROMs comes with the limitations that Android TV comes with. Such as many apps not being able to be installed from Playstore directly. (Chrome, etc)

Many apps that are not designed for Android TV won't be listed in the Google Play Store for Android TV, but that doesn't mean that you can't install them. I preload Chrome, which you can use to install apps directly from sites like APKMirror.com. When installed, these non-ATV apps will just show up in the App Drawer.

You should see an app called Update or UPDATE&BACKUP. Just launch it, select the .zip file in the Local Update section, check the Wipe Data option, and click Update.

Sorry, this doesn't work with the Z6 Plus (or the TX9 Pro), but I could probably easily create custom ROMs for those. I just need to get one of those boxes.

No, it just rebooted and never booted again.
PC doesn't recognize it, but I'll try again tomorrow with a USB 2.0 cable (currently I only have a USB 3.0 cable)

Hi to all.
I'm a possessor of Wingogo tx92, probably a rebranded Tanix tx92. It have amlogic s912, 3gb ram and 32gb flash.
The problema is that I'm unable to boot anything else, except the TX9pro-20171222.img firmware.
I tried to install thought usb burning tool but it fails with "Usb Control setup error".
If I try with recovery and OTA update the box not boot anymore and I have to short circuit the NANA.
For those interested in this recovery method, you have to plug usb otg and power, start usb burning tool process and short circuit the 7-8 or 8-9. To find the right pin, look the nand, start to count on right from bottom to up. Try and error and you will find the right pins.
