Download the new MK808B_digitopMod_MINIX_NEO-G4_port(0730)_Sep2013 (14.09.2013) rom from post #54, Then go to post #2687. Download links are on deposifiles and you have to use CWM to flash the rom.
The rom gets an Antutu score of 12569, the fastest yet. It includes the latest libstagefright files for Android 4.1.
I can't seem to update the first post to put a link to the new rom there.

Thanks... downloading on depositfiles is a pain in the *ss though,
downloading now, will try it later this day.

Can anyone revisit the exact steps necessary to install the latest digitopMod Sept 2013 on a MK808... I've tried the CWM method and it seems to get stuck when the stick reboots.... It shows the GOOGLE TV screen and then just hangs... ;-(

You are right....we need a proper thread for this rom....with a changelog to....we have no info on this rom, except that can reach 12500 in antutu.

So, can someone do a nice job and make this easy for all.

The only thing I can think that you may have overlooked is this:

1) Wipe all data. (Data, cache, dalvik-cache)

The first time you boot up after flashing new firmware, it may take unusually long.

If you still have issues, the only thing I can think is to use a different power source, because it's been noted that this can make a difference with the MK808/MK808B.

You can also re-download the firmware. It's only a slim chance, but it could possibly be that you didn't get the full file intact.

Other devices(MK808 & Clones)
For users that want to use the rom on a MK808, you have to flash a MK808 kernel with
RKAndroidTool v1.37 afterwards.

So I suppose you can obtain kernel.img from any other MK808 ROM.

As posted on the minix digitopmod neo geo4 thread, for me this rom with kizs v4 720p is really smooth and fast, but kizs kernel isnt as good about wifi as 2dark4u or Finless kernel

Here some tests results: i see that someone said 13000 is great, in that case what about 14000 and more...

Am i the only one who has problems with walkman 2.1 and hardware decoding? When Hardware Decoding is activated videos in xbmc look like this:

You should definitely try this http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...30%29-_Sep2013 rom if you haven't already, it's the upgrade of the Walkman rom.
It includes the libstagefright.so fix to play movies correctly. Or you can just replace that file in the Walkman rom then you won't see those stripes when playing movies(the Walkman rom should also have the fix). Also install the neon codec for MX Player from the Play Store and activate H/W+ support in MX Player's settings.

Im using 2dark4u_kernel_720_GPU433_CPU1608_RAM1140 ( UG 802) with digitopMod_MINIX_NEO-G4_port (0730)

I had a score of 14000.

My device is the MK809II, so for those who wanna try you can forget about wireless & BlueT..

That´s why i use a USB lan adapter.
