Unfortunately this ROM does not work on my MK908. I first loaded the default version (400 MHz) and while on the first boot I saw some graphics on the boot sequence (the android character and something like "recovery system 4.2", where it deletes /data, /cache, etc.), after that, I never saw any more video output. Just a totally dark screen. I reloaded the ROM twice, then tried the 800 Mhz for kicks, all with the same black screen (and I never saw the "recovery system" screen after the first time).

I just reloaded the universal ROM to make sure I hadn't bricked the device and that worked fine. So this new ROM doesn't work for me at all

thx for the rom, it works fine for me but there is one big problem: WIFI...

WIFI is very unstable and get sometimes broken... then i must restart the stick to get wifi again working.

Second the CPU Frequenz is fixed at 1000 MHz, why???

thx for the rom, it works fine for me but there is one big problem: WIFI...

Thanks Hoaby for your hard work . I can confirm that wifi gets broken intermittently whilst the v3 stick is running. Then I have to reboot to get it working again. I must add that I did not encounter wifi connectivity issues on stock rom 0802. The 'shut down' on screen button does not put the device to 'off mode' and will restart the stick instead. BT works and is quite decent. I manage to connect my Samsung S3 phone and BT keyboard. Overall the ROM is zippy and V3-400hz 1080p kernel allowed me to play HD movies.

I have the same issue, my mk908 is V3, then i return to version 2.01 but the vpn doesn't work. I'd like to known how to fix the VPN issue? Because I'm in China, if no VPN I can't use YouTube to watch online video, please help me!

I have a v1 stick and the wifi breaks every once in a while as well.

- The Screenshot App crashes with the error "System-UI was closed" when you want to take a screenshot
- When you want to power off the stick it only reboots

Netflix really doesn't work with this, however, it seems to be a bit more stable when at idle (no processes running) then the hoaby universal 2.01 ROM, wifi breaks and Netflix is basically unusable (second streamed movie will constantly buffer or not even load or I get a 11003 error). Going back to tronsmart stock 0802 firmware...very sad.

Did you try to press and hold power off button? It pops up an Ubuntu like menu with three options, including power off. For me it shuts down properly (V1 stick, 800MHz 720p kernel). Didn't try Screenshot app, but camera is working properly. Cheers

HI! Yes, after I paired the BT Keyboard with v3-MK908 stick..Then to confirm, I used the keyboard with the YouTube app and was able to use it to type out search items.

Not sure why...but it actually worked for me.

Occasional boot loop

As feedback for this rom:

Tried on my mk908 v3. There are still occasional hang and boot loop (stuck at jjhmod screen, did not move to green animated android logo screen). When boot loop happens have to keep pull out usb power, plug in again and eventually it will boot ok. Using 720p 400MHz.
