I just installed the new firmware posted on geek... blog, now it's working, no startups. Wifi also works fine, but i am testing on my computer and my wlan router is under desk. And the newest firmware has only 720 resolution. But main thing, it works!

Stock firmwares have always been 720p afaik. 1080p was a fake as stated by finless

****in wifi, all this dongles is piss of shit , on every rom, custom or stock laging, 5min is good and then 5kb/s . I have another dongle, it's call cabletech urz0350 with RK3066, and the same problem. I think it's impossible to fix it

I got this: mk908-HW_V3-jjhkernel-v5.1-500mhz-1080p
if you put 1080 kernel must put 1080boot, the same for 720.

Thank you, i don't know if I've also tried this combination. I have since yesterday a new folder on my pc with 13,7 gb with all sorts of different firmwares and kernels and tried hundreds of combinations, none has helped me. Now I have installed this newest fw and I am satisfied.

Doesn't work on my MK908 v3 tried different settings, but i keep having a black screen...

EDIT: It does work but with the kernel from the repacked finless 1.4

but testing the latest stock rom (tagged released on 27th sept. 2013) which is for the v3 compatible.

I'm testing this new upgrade now.

Back to v2.2 again.

New original update 07-09-2013 has:
-WI-FI goes wrong, I was interrupted several times
-black screen in games 1-2 seconds
-Worse mouse pointer
-Rarely screen flicker

Only black screen on mk908 v3

Well here's a new rom I thew together for the mk908. I have included kernels to support both versions of the mk908 (V1 and V3), including choices in resolutions and ram speeds. The system.img file is basically Finless's new CX-919 system with a few modifications. My thanks for his permission to use parts of his roms. It seemed pretty nice so I figured I'd make a mk908 rom out of it.

Also the kernels included with this rom are my most current. The github source for these is: https://github.com/jjhmod/mk908-jjh-kernel.git

As the tittle says i flashed it but at first it was no signal then after flashing again its just black screen. Any help plz
