Sorry Bob, but a no go on the Ver 3 boards with your Rom

First off great Work from you and every other developer here! but I down loaded twice and flashed your rom twice on my ver 3 MK908 and when I tried to boot it, nothing. And I mean nothing, no light, nothing on the screen, just dead. reflashed to the latest stock posted on the Tronsmart website and all OK! Scored 16,164 with antutu! Only issue I have is slight artifacing, (blue and red streaks flash horizontally across the screen). Other then that all else seems good. WAAAYY better then their last update. I do have a 5v, 3amp power supply. I have flashed a lot of roms from you guys and all seemed better then Tronsmart stock. Hope something can be done to get this to work with the ver 3 boards! Thanks again!!

Thanks for the tip, it mended it a bit. I just learned that all the color banding I see is because it's only 16 bit color. Not too cool, and I wasn't aware. But the Finless rom is great, it plays everything give it!

MK908v1, iMito QX1 are the same as your MK908ii.

Please try the application program "Screen Adjuster".

It seems that the default of MX player is H/W decoder of 16bit.
I will use the S/W decoder of 32bit or the H/W+ decoder.

Correctly, I should specify YUV color format when I play an iso file.
The video will be dark by YUV->RGB conversion.

According to rumor on internet, it seems that iMito QX2 and MK908ii cannot use an usb external hdd.

It is 100% false because i have mk908ii and i`m using it with an 1TB external hdd and i didnt had a single problem, the stick recognized it from the first connection to the usb port.( i dont know about imito qx2 but i am the owner of a mk908ii so..)

908 vs. 908 II

Hello guys,

I'm new here so apologies for the dumb questions I may have... tried to search the forum but haven't found my answers.

I'm planning to buy a Tronsmart 908 but I just saw there is a 908 II - what the heck is the difference between the 2 gadgets apart from the external Wifi antenna? Which one should I go for?
My device would be placed 5 inches to the router so distance shouldn't be a problem for either of the devices...
Anything else? Software, hardware?

Note: I'm not an IT specialist don't really know what a kernel is and not planning to do any tweaking/pimping I just want to use it without problems (OK, I'm not that lama so may be able to install a custom ROM if that makes things better

Question about BL-s4

Dear friends,

I am new here and dont know if it is a right place...I have bought wireless air mouse beelink bl-s4 but after purchase seller told me that it works only with mk8xx and mk9xx devices. Since I own an iMito mx1 running with finless 2.0 rom my question is is there a possible fix for it or can I somehow extract an app out of mk ROM that run this device. That air mouse is advertised that work both android and windows but it seams it is not true.

I have been playing with this device for over a week now.
This is the first time I saw this thread and I probably unfortunatly I have updated the rom to Finless 2.0 kitkat beta using an overclocked kernel_cpu1800h_gpu798h_ddr800 .

I have a problem relative to the Wi-Fi speed which I describe here

In general I don't want to use netflix etc. I want to use the device as a media player (MX Player) for files shared from a NAS that usually have 720 as the highest resolution.

I would also like be able some games if possible, like CSR Racing, Badlands and Real Racing 3. Those are games play nice through Nexus 7 which scores on antutu 13500 something. My current rom scores 14500 but cannot handle badlands. 3D Games are optional but I have some expectations, if not with this device then with another that I'm willing to buy for the main tv.

I would like to get some SAMBA path mounts but I don't think this is relative to the rom

What I really need though is multi account support. I always thought that this was part of android 4.2 but seems like the rom has to be able to support this. I tried the multi user but it is not working.


To summarize I need

• Max 720p playback
• Enough Wi-Fi bandwidth
• Multi - User support
• Samba mounts
• Some 3D to play some games.
• Non problematic access to google play store.

I'm also having sometroubles with the root access of Android 4.4.. I some much more prefer the roor access on my THL W200 (android 4.2).

I'm asking you that have experience with this device what should I do and which do you think is the best rom? Should I get the original rom back in and how? Should I use overclocked kernels? I don't think my requirements are very extreme and games are the one with the least priority (although I'm interested in a potential suggestion or solution)

Keep in mind that I'm not a very experienced user with android and customization and certainly not at all with unix. I understand the instructions but mostly I follow them.
