Alternative kernel for this rom (without hw cooling modding) - advice

I have been running this rom on my MK808B orig. now for a week or so. Pretty satisfied, but considering trying a different kernel to get -even- smoother hd video (Mx-player/XBMC XAF). Getting around 12000 on Antutu.

Can anyone recommend a kernel, which would give at least a small video performance boost WITHOUT having to resort to hardware cooling mods. My power unit seems to be OK (stock unit) and is maybe helped that all usb hw (Logitec C170 webcam, rapoo E2700 2.4gh keyboard/touchpad, ipazzport KP-810-10BTT backlit bt keyboard) are running off a powered usb hub. I am not a gamer, so gaming performance is not an issue.

Since I do not use wifi, because I have an ethernet adapter, I was wondering if 2dark4u v1.4 would make sense for me. (Unfortunately I wasn't one of the lucky testers for 2dark4u v1.5).
I know I would lose built in BT of the 808B, but can anyone say if my BT ipazzport keyboard will work on 2dark4u using the BT dongle supplied with the keyboard. (On "stock" kernel it works with or without dongle on this rom).
I also need a working VPN from the kernel.

Would appreciate any tips!

@ rouletabille: In your post with all the antuntu scores, you forgot to mention if kizs v4.1 and 2dark4u 1.4 are 720p or 1080p (i guess all were 720p). Also thx for the upload of kizs 4.

All tested kernel are only 720P

Rouletabille, can you do a test with neoG4 port by digitop?
I was able to reach 12800 in antutu with 2dark4u kernel.
Maybe with kizs kernel will go further.

As you can see no real difference between on demand or performance setting
Testing wifi with Stream TV apk, no issues at all, no temp problem, but i only have a sensation that wifi isnt as good as in 2dark4u. I will see later.
Will continue my test later in the night, my daughter is watching Disney Channel... grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

- 2dark4u 1.4 - cpu on demand - 504mhz to 1.41 Ghz (no performance test cause it gives 10XXX score )

During antutu test its really clear that on 3D kizs V4 is faster but like i said i tested wifi and with mk at same place, the 2dakr4u kernel gives a better signal

My two cents
At first im now sure that we need good psu; when i tested last week some kernels , my mk was completely blocked at boot for some, or rebooted after a while.
By using my woltcraft psu (bought cause of my cube U30GTH madness problem) i dont have any problem.

And yes, you will need a modded mk or a real good cooled one to stands in time without any issues.

For the moment im continuing to test the digitopmod neo geo with 2dark, but my impress stands digitopmod walkman is on my own a bit better for wifi (any kernel tested) and i dont feel any lag at use.

Well he doesnt take long to get same issue with stream tv. Back to digitopmod walkman with kizs V4 and no doubt this rom for me is really better and epic citadel test in 3D is really better. Stands wifi signal not really the best one.

Shutdown issue

Anyone else unable to actually shutdown the stick? (blue light still on) The factory 4.2.2 rom solved this, but is too unstable at everything else lol.

I get your frustration but I am not the person to share this kernels, first of all the 1.5 BETA1 & BETA2 kernels are highly experimental and therefore not suitable for sharing and second, : The 1.5 BETA 2dark4u kernels are the work of Alex (2dark4u) from allminipc. When asked for the testers team we all agreed on not sharing this kernels.
It is for me also a long time ago I got some response from 2dark4u so I am also a little "frustrated" that the BETA 1.5 suddenly stopped just after the release of BETA2 1.5. In may of this year there was some talking about releasing BETA3 (final) but I never got any answers after this date.

That's really sad. 13300 Antuntu score is absolutely great. It is amazing how much potential our old rk3066 has, but it's sad that there is such a lack of kernel development.
I hope at least omegamon finds the time to work on his rk3066 kernel again...
