I have snakes android 4.2.2 on mk809b (i think based on rikomagic's) currently installed, can I just follow the instructions and overwite to this ROM via CWM via sdcard?

I'm using stock rom (4.2) and kernel (3.0.36+) with my original mk808b and I'm really happy with it. XBMC plays fine, wi-fi works and I don't really have any complains. Except for one. I can't use my Wii u pro controller with it but it's supposed to work with Android 4.1. Do you think I could use this rom for that without loosing the goodies of my current setup? Also, do I need a new kernel (like the one from finless 1.7) or can I just install this directly with CWM without flashing kernel?

Install this rom instead

Also try my updated UPDATE 18/11/13 VERSION and see if it works.
The tool to install CWM, Arctools also includes other options to install gamepad files for xbox etc.
Also try USB/BT Joystick Centre or Game Keyboard apps.
CWM roms include kernel so nothing else to flash, it takes a while to flash, just be patient.

Well, to be sure that the problem is not with my router I've started thethering service on my phone and tried mk to connect it. No luck, still only works without encryption.

I've just flashed my MK808B. Everything is working fine but WiFi. It could connect only to WiFi which is not not crypted. If I Use Wep, Wpa, Wpa2 - authentication problem occurs. My MK is original with RK903 chip onside. Did someone has similar issue?

I use WPA-PSK and have no connection problems, only with WPA2.

You have to copy all these files from one of your clone Android 4.1 stock roms to this rom
/system/lib/libhardware_legacy.so
/system/lib/modules/wlan.ko, & other .ko files your wifi is using eg realtek or mediatek
/system/etc/firmware/WIFI_RAM_CODE
/system/etc/wifi/wpa_supplicant.conf
/ System / bin / Netd
/ System / bin / wpa_supplicant
/ System / bin / wpa_cli
And the kernel

I copy all from my finless 1.7 expect the System.img. But it will not work. (the wifi).
Copied also the "wifi" named files from /System/lib/moduls.
What am I doing wrong?

Thanks but the problem is I can't seem to locate a link in digitops post. I'm using Chromes translate function as I can't read Russian and may be is messing up the download link. Can you see it?
