Have you succesfully installed the driver?
If yes then to go to flash mode put a paperclip in the hole press it then connect the otg cable to pc

Yes, I installed the drivers with the DriverInstaller.exe from VonDroid.com and everything was ok.


I have updated an MK908 model with sucess in first time.


I don't understand why it does not work with the MK908II. Any clue?

It is clearly stated in first post that the kernel has been patched to be 720p because the stock 1080p kernel caused reboots and other wired problems. However there is a 1080p kernel in the package in case you want to use that. 1080i is lower quality output which needs more processing on kernel side made to lower data rate for transmission purpouses and is not supported by any of these devices i have seen yet.

I totally didn't make myself very clear.
I meant 1080p and I was referring to the new stock firmware.
I am currently running the latest Finless ROM 1.4a with the 1080p support and love it.
But the grass is always greener in the latest ROM updates. (not always)
I may give the new stock ROM a try if it supports 1080p.

Sorry for the delay guys.... My PC took a crap and I am replacing my SSD and having to reinstall everything. I am making my own Slip Stream Win7 install disk so I do not have to wear out the new SSD drive with 176 large MS updates! MS latest Win7 iso is WAY too old I mean sheesh.... 176 updates? They need a damn SP release or a new ISO with all this updated.

Anyway.... that is keeping me busy right now.

I will be back at it soon.

I think they make new isos only with service packs... however, n-lite does a good job there... have fun and dont stress, this is unhealthy...

Yea... I am using RT7 Lite to make the slipstream. It's just all the time and testing the new slipstream disk in a VM before I commit it to my SSD.

Why not just do the install to a normal harddrive and then mirror it to the ssd?

Because when windows installs it knows it is being installed to a hard disk and thus TRIM and other needed SSD items are not setup right. So it's always good to install to a SSD live.
However Vbox VM has an options to fool windows that the virtual hard disk is a SSD thus giving you what you want

You build your system and SYSPREP it and it can then be used to migrate the build to a real PC.

Hi, did anyone here experience problems with IMDB and YOUTUBE with this firmware ? I've installed Bob's 1.4a even before trying the original one (I use bob's on my MK808 without problems), but in this case, I have some problems with IMDB and YOUTUBE and basically an probably any streaming app (except from Netflix), the problem is that every 5 or 10 seconds buffer restarts or something like that... always, no matter if I use Wifi or Network card... any ideas ?

Looks to me like a problem with that libxxxxx library, but really don't know. Netflix works perfectly fine by the way, an so anything else.

Anyone ideas ?
