Now reflashed with cpu 1800 ddr 720

libmedia patch

Hi,

Great work. Can you confirm if the libmedia passthrough patch for xbmc is still in this build. I notice its not in the modification list compared to 1.5a

The modification list was made kind of in a hurry because Bob was just about the leave for a trip. I polished the list a bit before releasing everything but I'm not 100% sure what Bob did and didn't put into it.

I removed that part because I didn't see the libmedia.old librkffplayer.old, which can mean that either it's not patched or it was already patched by Minix in the 005 stock rom.

If it turns out not to be patched, see the instructions on:

Had my first shutdown with kernel_phja_720_vsfsam_cpu1704h_gpu600_ddr720 when watching mkv 1080p with Archos after about 10 minutes.

Edit: And second shutdown now like after 20 minutes.

Will now try this: kernel_phja_720_vsfsam_cpu1608h_gpu600_ddr720.

On minix forum ,minix finally confirmef video decoding problems due to hdmi management and promossa a fix in 006 firmware

Edit: Tested Netflix but shutdown only after mabey 2 minutes.

Smooth as butter... Streaming from AC ryan over ethernet 1080p .

Using mx player and cifs manager because mx doesnt support smb.

HDMI mode 1080 60hz
No shitdowns no reboot nothing..

No heat problems been playing full hd for hours to test. Stable as hell.

Letting it play all night and come back in the morning to see if it still plays.

Thank you for this beautiful work, but I have a problem playing with Google Play Music which stops after a track and make me "error flow" as the Official ROM Minix. This is not just because of the Kernel I installed your kernel on SDK2 ROM and no problem.

This one is first stable for me. Any reason why?

Strazo's is allso rock solid there are just some minor quarks there needs some work like Xbmc sometimes gets a hickup when playing streamed video from serviio server and NFL game pass has also hickups and some minor jidder now and then.

Ok this is great.
Had mine playing 1080p all night till morning. Still playing when I got up.
Heat is ok. Nice and warm..
