Minix Neo X7 - Finless 1.6 ROM - with overclock and frame skipping fix!
Well what is your storage ratio between app storage and sdcard? Did you use one of the different parameter files on the rom install? You only mentioned 2.5gb between those 2 apps on the internal sdcard so I I'm still trying to figure out what is taking up all your space. Most android tv users have the actual stick devices with 4 to 8 gb storage, but you are running a Minix X7, so just trying to figure out what else you got going on that you would need to map your internal storage to a physical sd card.

I am surprised he ran out of APP space to be honest.
Something is not right with either his ROM flash or something has eaten a BUNCH of APP space.
I mean the X7 out of the box has more APP space than any stock TV ROM out there!
Makes no sense to be honest.

Well, I finally moved this box to the family room and put it into general use. The 1.6 rom is stable and nearly perfect... in my opinion.
But (always with the BUT) the audio is pretty thin... and I do mean thin... only on the Yamaha in the family room, the audio leaves something to be desired. When I switch XBMC to "HDMI" for audio, it makes this awful noise, so I have to quickly turn that off... my wife thought I was going to break her HTPC setup. So I have it set to "Analogue". Whatever that means, it is still on the HDMI, since that is all I have connected to the Yamaha.
Is the optical working? I haven't hooked it up yet, because I thought it wasn't. Any ideas? I have to get better sound out of this somehow. Stereo is okay... that is what we use mostly anyhow. But it sounds weak and thin right now... I guess washed out is a good adjective.
Any ideas?

If I remember correctly all my tests were made without the Airmouse (I was stuck with poor range / performance, solved by a brilliant comment by phjanderson). Now that i solved my Airmouse range issues I have random shutdowns, maybe we have the same problem.
P.S. More and more I dig in this rom and more awesome it gets. Every single problem I had was hardware related, not a single software problem. Two thumbs us guys!

Rii 25 works without issues with X7 and so do Logitec K400. I suggest you try 720DDR instead of 800DDR.

In these days i tried:
kernel_phja_1080_vsfsam_cpu1800h_gpu600_ddr800
kernel_phja_1080_vsfsam_cpu1800h_gpu600_ddr667
kernel_phja_1080_vsfsam_cpu1704h_gpu600_ddr720
kernel_phja_1080_vsfsam_cpu1704h_gpu600_ddr667
kernel_phja_1080_vsfsam_cpu1608h_gpu600_ddr667
Every kernel sooner or later showed some random shutdown, but ONLY when my Airmouse was connected. I'm going to try without it and I'm quite sure I'll be keeping kernel_phja_1080_vsfsam_cpu1800h_gpu600_ddr720.

Okay, I have kernel_phja_1080_vsfsam_cpu1704h_gpu600_ddr720 flashed with the large icons boot (no airpin) and everything is looking good. I used Titanium backup to restore my apps and that went well (my 1st time to try that).
Antutu = 19259, passed the stability test with very small variations in temp, stayed cool to the touch (about the same as always).
I am in the process of reloading XBMC, apparantly some stuff didn't get completely restored by Titanium, but I need the practice... hehehe...
Overall, I am very happy. Fast, stable, no crashes. Brilliant work guys!!

You download the app from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2191223
It is like an equalizer app with various settings. You can enhance the audio, bass, loudness etc. I use it on all my Android devices.
