For me it was T2 airmouse that was the problem, not power supply.

Hi guys, adrenalize told me that if you connect your webcam before you boot the x7, the webcam won't work (using a c270). Is there any way to fix this (I just bought a c270 online, but it hasn't arrived so I can't test anything myself)?

Thanks for your answer, but i did not use a T2 remote...i use an RC11 airmouse, could it be this ?

Thruster can you tell me what remote do you use, what is the best air mouse remote for neo x7?

          I want to buy a melef10 pro...it is ok?

Try only with remote that comes with X7 to rule out if RC11 is your problem or not. Minix A2 airmouse is really good when it works, but mine just stops working frequently for a resaon i don't know but it works perfect with MK808.

Anyone else using A2 with Finless 1.6 without problems?

I have used both regular MELE F10 and the pro versions. The pro suffers from 2 issues:
              1. Like the A2, the audio after reboot is output to the remote's speaker, instead to HDMI. It's quite annoying but unavoidable.
              2. Quite a few buttons in the control side can't be mapped and have no use. I couldn't map play/pause functionality, for example. The situation with the regular F10, in this regard, is better and I was able to map most of the important functions.

I have the Mele Pro and the A2. The audio can be fixed using Soundabout. The mapping cannot be changed on the Mele, so that's why I bought the A2

Is there any way to re-install the lock screen?

So, the ideal is the A2 or Mele?
Sorry for the question, but the mapping is for the games?
I do not play any games.

The A2 seems pretty good....can you tell me if microphone works?

The mapping is for some of the buttons on the Mele, it has some dedicated media buttons that you are unable to map so are rendered useless, including the power button. Because of this the A2 is my favored remote. One thing I wish the A2 had though is the mode select that the Mele has, I also find the mic better on the Mele but the build quality of the A2 is very good. You have to remember the Mele was developed for Mele Android boxes and the A2 for Minix, so there respective media buttons often don't cross over to other devices.

The mapping is not for games but for controlling Android and media players.

The microphone/speakers work good with the Mele.

Mele has an internal, rechargeable Lithium battery and A2 uses 4x AAA batteries that run out fast. If A2 had internal, rechargeable battery, I would have preferred it on the Mele, hands down. In the current state, Mele + Harmony remote, satisfy my needs. It's not perfect, though.

For all users that have Minix A2 airmouse. Do you have a tv with HDMI 1.3 or 1.4? For me A2 stops working randomly when i use it with Sharp Aquos LC-60LE636 with HDMI 1.4 but works perfect with my old Sony Bravia with HDMI 1.3.

Actually the A2 uses 2*AAA batteries. I bought 2 rechargeable batts, good solution.

My mistake. I've heard people having issues with rechargeable batteries, as they quickly go below the threshold voltage, required for the A2's operation. What is your experience with that?
