    [RePack] Finless 1.4A for the MK908 V3[UPDATED]

what works:Everything .incl Bluetooth, Wifi, Ethernet

Video Playback:9.5/10(using my hobbit 1080 11Mbit DTS file with the overclocked kernel)

NetFlix/Hulu Support:Should work Don't complain about it if it crashes nothing I can do same for the wifi its out of my hands

Antutu 4.x:17367 with the OC 667 kernel
    Antutu 4.x 18000+ with the DDR720 kernel

    Download[UPDATED]: https://mega.co.nz/#!hkdH0TZa!Xa7N3j...VkDy4pstEb7mwA

    included patched Stock-kernel with Vsync-fix + mild OC(CPU:1600 Ram:667, Gpu:533
    MK908_V3_Kernel_cpu1608h_gpu600_ddr667_vsfsam.img (for the MK908 VERSION 3 ONLY)
    \rom\ockernel.img

huge props to phjanderson for the binary patcher still can't believe it works ... on the V3
Ill push for more MegaHurtz when I have time to sit down and play with it
notes: if you know how you can enable ffmpeg-sw in the build.prop if you have further issues with stutter
this is TRUE 1080P kernel the default res is 720p I don't recommend running at 720p as it looks like complete ass in my Opinion
Don't attempt to use XBMC it doesn't work correctly its a upstream problem with XBMC and not a problem with the ROM XBMC only works on 4.1.1 based Roms this is 4.2
for the best video playback use the "video" app that comes stock anything else is a crapshoot and you will get zero support on it

    thx Legitsu

this will boot-loop on finless logo on my v3.0 (2013.05.13 date) - the 0802_update kernel will NOT work on this stick. It will work however with MK908-android.4.2.2.jjhmod.universal.v2.01 kernel-interactive.img (like many other roms) BUT the screen will be shifted about 20% up and right - and that can be fixed somewhat by going to setting/screen and using 1080p - but it will end up being bigger than the screen of the TV and scaling is broken. Any way to fix that?

edit: screen looks ok with MK908-V3-android-4.2.2-jjhmod-v1.0 MK908-V3-jjhkernel-1080p.img but it'll crash Netflix in about 5min. Go figure...

works on my V3 this is the Stockkernel From The TronSmart OFFICAL ROM

custom kernels DO NOT WORK ON the V3 and they will never work untill we get sources don't use them hobays kernels do not SCALE AT ALL on the V3 cpu_freq = lies

scaling is broken because of issues with overlay and the kernel output setting(blame bob forcing every one to default to 720p )
Open BuildProp and make sure video.use.overlay=1 and that you are booting at 1080
also you may need to change the display density the problem with the display is not in the kernel I said that in the First post
      edit: i should add that
MK908-V3-jjhkernel-1080p.img has the broken vsync fix that floods the dmsg out when playing video I assume thats whats causing the netflix to crash
edit sorry that should be =1 not 0 if you want scaling(beware if your ldc density is incorrectly set for your display it will be off screen

setting hwcompose-policy=3 gets you a respectable 16674 in antutu 4
I should add that that higher the setting (0 to 6) the more '2d accleration' is enabled while it makes it feel more snappy it also increases CPU and GPU load and could lead to slower performance running games or other 3D accelerated application due to the overhead
I recommend 0 to 3 you can go up to 4 but then your 3D/GPU accleration will suffer a bit setting it to 5 or 6 takes a good 500 points off the antutu score

          thanx for the help

          video.use.overlay=1 works!

btw: stock Tronsmart (0802 update) kernel will bootloop my stick.

Flashed with your ROM. It worked very fast and stable. I use fly mouse MELE F10, which works well. After restart it become slow, mostly at watching videos on internet ( Youtube, Birds toons.. ). Videos are buffering and buffering. Again, not usable. I have MK808 which works very well on same WiFi connection.

Thanx for your efforts...everything works on my mk908 v.1 device except (like in stock rom/kernel) the screen flickers and/or turns on and off every few seconds. I was not able to find a solution other than to stick with customized kernels.

to anyone having bootloop issues make sure you actually have a MK908 3.0 and not a clone also make sure you are doing a ERASE-IDB before flashing

the only way to know is to open it and check the date and manufacturer of the pcb

@Legitsu, any chance to get this rom with a compatible cifs module(for mounting Windows shares)?

                            Thanks!

I would assume so provided you use a init.d script and insmod it in
