Can anyone else confirm that? For now, the best result I had with Hoaby 1080p v3.5 fast, system was very fast, XBMC worked without issues, but there was no BT and CPU scaling problem. I don't know what he did, but it was pretty amazing. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate your efforts
Use the built in Video player it provides the best playback you are gonna get on these devices
MX player is also a good Option but you need to use a custom software decoder for the audio if you want DTS
XMBC is NOT ready for use yet on 4.2.2 it is entirely unsupported hobys rom is 4.1.1
    current devices(rockchip sucks)
Hardkernel ODROID C1 running android kitkat
Hardkernel ODROID XU3-L Running Linux/openelec (primary media server)
rPi model B+ running nothing ... bricked

I don't agree, XBMC worked fine, Tronsmart something messed up in latest ROM, that it can't handle 1080p. btw Hoaby ROM is 4.2.2, but I meant his kernel.

      regards

Tronsmart made changes to both the native libstagefright and ffmpeg this is most likely what is breaking XBMC and its XBMC's fault for not supporting the newer version Hobys rom is based on the older version you are free to use this kernel with whatever rom you want
their is nothing I can do about XBMC not working right its in Alpha anyway

I've just figured out the problem is more in poor WiFi rather than XBMC. It's strange because it plays fine in MX player over cifs but not in XBMC. I put movie into flash disk, and XBMC played it fine . I definitely stick with your ROM. Also, I've patched oc kernel from your 1.4a pack by phjanderson script (btw thank you phjanderson, great work!) and flashed cpu1800h_gpu600_ddr800_vsfsam.img. Well, what can I say, feedback was totally over my expectation . Everything seems to be soooo smooth, web browsing, XBMC render 1080 with almost 60Hz, so smooth . But this kernel is not stable, can't pass Antutu (rebooting). Didn't try less OCed kernel, maybe with ddr720 would be more stable, didn't have time to check.
Another source of instability can be power supply - I use not tronsmart 2A adapter so maybe 2Amps is not enough. I need to get stronger power supply. I presume overheating is not a problem, cause I put big radiator (5cm height). For those who want to try more OCed kernels, upload in progress...

            Hi,

Did you try to use that latest stock kernel ( 107j2 ) for patching ? ( Sat Sep 7 10:00:15 CST 2013 ).

The current in your rom is the 105j2...

DDR800 wasn't stable on my stick so I settled on 667 most V3 sticks won't do more then 700

                          won't work
who do you think helped hoabycsr build it for the v3 current sources have something broken in the kernel that prevents the governor on the V3 sticks from working so neither the cpu nor the gpu scales properly and you get garbage performance

Yeah you are right...However, I tried this one even though it was for .v3, I got an Antutu benchmark of over 20,000!! As expected, I got the flickering on and off again screen though...so it was unusable for me.

the reason for the tag (V3 only) is because I don't want people using this rom on the V1 yet the V3 has been a real bitch to get working semi-correctly and i need to make sure it works before we move on to tweaking performance further so please keep posts related to the V3 only

Got no clue, but I extracted kernel from latest ROM and successfully patched. You can find them here: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...ll=1#post98954
