Grateful for the tip.
Do you have the GT1 Ultimate with the firmware you indicated?
I'm not able to run 100% the Prime Video app.
Once again: Thank you!

Thanks, I guess.
I've using the ROM in this post, I said I only seen one crash but after publish the above reply, I've been getting one crash here and there, and I believe the tv box has some sort of problem. I don't think it's the CPU because AIDA64 reports <50 degress celsius and eMMC is probably fine as well along with RAM. The random crashes really annoying.

Hi there,
I had bought a Beelink GT1 Ultimate with S912 chipset and 3gb ram and 32gb rom, serial starting A3DE. Since purchasing until now, I got tired of the system was constantly having crashes, no sure yet if it is hardware related, and changed lighthome to launcher3 etc etc which mitigated crashes. Then randomly searched for updated rom version, my box already had 709n0 and went for Manjaro ARM etc which has lots of graphical glitches unless it is my tv which doesnt seem to handle interpolated full hd.
Moving on, then I found a post someone looking for the rom of the current version and not finding it and someone gave thel ink for this thread and I decided to try to check out it on my box. Downloaded the 7z, extracted, read the rest of the post for instructions for sd card installation since the box was running android 7.1.2. I took somehow to realise that I would need to press the reset button when inserting the power lead.and release it when the android robot logo and the progress bar was showing on the screen.
The installation took some time and the post-installation too, then it just asked me what launcher I want to use, I'm more familiarized with launcher3 but I will try the other launchers at some point.
So far I had just one crash, maybe it was play store being updated. So far seems ok.
My question most urgent is... is it possible to turn the Settings into a dark mode? Now it is white but I don't like white.
Thanks in advance.

Hello,
I am new to this so forgive me if what I say makes no sense.
I have beelink gt1 with serial number S912.... but currently the build number is GT1 _110M0 (it doesnt end in "N0" as stated in the first post). Can I still flash this rom ?
The android version I have is 6.0.1 which means I have to use Amlogics burning tool, and so I need to connect the tv box to the computer with a usb to usb cable which I dont have. So my question is this, can i upgrade the firmware to android 7, using official firmwares and then use the SD card method to flash this rom? If so where could I find the official firmwares?
If i try the online update tool that come with the official firmware it says there are no new firmwares.
Thanks!

Anyone have a way of getting around Amazon Prime being such a low resolution? I have a few streaming services on my GT1. Some are not fully HD but they all work nicely enough, apart from Prime. By far, it has the worst resolution. I'm hardwired into our fast home network and I have the latest updates. Is it a limitation and are there any solutions? Thanks!

Sorry to hear you haven't been able to install the rom on your dad's GT1.
It took me awhile to install this rom using the USB Burning Tool method, but it eventually worked. i think I tried a few different versions. Maybe try the latest one? Of course, cleanly uninstall the version on your computer before you try a new version.
The timing of plugging in the box and running the rom install was key, if I recall correctly. Try selecting the rom, clicking "Start", and THEN quickly plug in your box in recovery mode. Hope that helps and if not, hopefully someone else can post some other suggestions. Patience and persistence is key. Good luck!
EDIT: And yes, AFAIK, this is the latest rom for the box. It's a really good one, so well worth getting up and running!Last edited by mh1983; 06 March 2021, 20:32.

Thank you. Yeah, ethernet generally works okay but it drops randomly for like a minute. If I can't get it back, rebooting seems to clear it up.
WiFi did work well but now it freezes the box altogether. Probably a factory reset would fix that but I did one not too longer ago and just prefer security/stability of ethernet.

I Never had problems using ethernet connection but I used it only several times. I use 5ghz connection and it functions perfectly. No 2,4 connection with this ROM but I do not care.

Is anyone using this box through a hard-wired ethernet connection? I prefer this route, and when it works, it works well, but sometimes the traffic drops or I boot up the box and the ethernet indicator is not there and I have to reboot. I gave it a static IP and use OpenDNS. Any suggestions to improve the stability?
