Since our device doesn't have a qualcomm chipset, is it perhaps possible to add an option to set the pm.sleep_mode to 0 instead of 1 for those who don't have a usb powered device? And will that work?

My tv doesn't have a usb slot, so I have to power the cx-919 with an adapter. I would realy like to turn the device "on" with my bluetooth airmouse
(or even better...the device can go into deepsleep but bluetooth stays on :-))
As i read that article, pm.sleep_mode has nothing to do with powering down the device itselfs, but with deep sleep state of cpu which we most likely (didnt check yet though) never reach at all, as these devices do not fall to sleep at all (No screen timeout and such stuff)

    Futhermore:
This second issue is, as I mentioned earlier, that this property does not exist anywhere in the ICS code base. This means that adding this value to your build.prop will have no effect at all. This parameter is a kernel parameter and will only work when passed directly to the kernel on boot.

Havent seen anything about it yet. I had ni time yet to test it with stock kernel, but i will give it a try later today

I'm new to TV Sticks and I loaded the 1.6b ROM last weekend. This loss of video output to the TV has happened to me a couple of times also. Otherwise it is working excellently, Netflix working no problems.

What kernel do u use? It could also be the sam1080 non oc kernel, just flashed stock 1080p kernel for testing

Hi bob, thanx for that rom, it works fine on my mates cx919, only provlem left is that occasionally the video output goes off for a second causing a blue screen on tv just to come back on as it didnt happen. I suspect the power supply to be the culprit for that, has anyone seen the same and cured it?

    RKRemoteControl - where is underscore?

Sorry if this should be placed in another thread, but I'll try to ask here. I have been using the RKRemoteControl apk, version 2.0.2. I must be blind because I cannot find the underscore (underbar) button. Can someone point it out to me? Thanks.

    Wake up from deep sleep

Offcourse many thanks for all the hard work. The ROM works pretty well.
I do have one question though ...
I have the tronsmart cx-919 with a tronsmart air mouse. I can put the device into sleep by pressing the power button on the air mouse for 3 - 5 seconds.
Pressing any button on the air mouse will turn on the device (it goes out of sleep). But when I wait for more then 2 minutes, the device will not turn on at all. I have to turn off the power supply en put it back on.

I would like to know how to get the device out of deep sleep. Any help would be appreciated

    Regards,
    Richard

    Configuration Back-up'd

Thanks to Marianote who redirected me to leolas, so finally, thanks to Leolas also.
I have made the back-up for my cx-919 following the second method detailed by leolas.
During the installing proccess for the differents apps needed to complete the step-by-step instruction I had the feel that Finless 1.5 already includes the tools and, may be, the partition to go into recovery mode without any other requirement. Is it in this way?
I question it because i wonder if the new Finless 1.6b also includes all the structure to go into recovery mode, even more, if could be possible use the same back-up made prior to install the 1.6b version without need to follow the Leolas step-by-step.

Of course, thank you to Bob Finless...
