    CloudnetGo CR11S

I am just trying out Cloudnetgo's next generation TV box.
This new box called the CR11S is another RK3188 device.
cpu 3188 cortex A9 up to 1.8 ghz
    quad core mali400 gpu
    ram2,memory flash 8
    wifi 802.11b,g,n
    bluetooth 4.0
    supports 3D online games
    android 4.2
    ports-HDMI,TF card,4-USB,RJ45,Optical,3.5mm AV out

This box seems very stable and quick.
Plays XBMC with MX player up to 720 no problem.
    WIFI seems rock solid.
Remote control works to a point, but I havent found any I like yet.
What sets this box apart from the rest is the built in camera and microphone.
Your family can sit on the couch and video conference with friends via skype.
Pretty cool box for under $100.00
I will update more later as I check some of the other features.

found this here in spanish. But it looks really good:

      Pros:
      - Good design and low heating.
      -Video at 1080p natively.
      - No lost frames in the video playback.
      - Wifi with warm reception and ethernet stable.
      - Multiple connectivity options.
      - HDMI 5.1 Audio and SPDIF
      - Audio output stereo sound allows us to have the TV off.

      To improve:

      - Bug in Bluetooth to connect headphones.
      - No physical power button

I just did a review of it. PART 1 only for now. I tried a bunch of other stuff that I am hoping to put into PART 2 (maybe next week if I can carve out the time).

Hope you find it useful I personally like this device. Am using it as my main day to day unit at the moment:

I change my mind at the last minute about which Android TV mini PC box I would purchase ...! I was going to purchase the Himedia Q5 II at first ... My choice now is the CR11S, and I ordered it about 2 days ago ....

What set this Android TV box apart from all others for me, it has 1080p screen resolution out of the box and built in native 1080p ... Plus it works very well via XBMC HW decoding and it plays 720p/1080p video with the MX Player XBMC integrated combo also .. The camera in the above YouTube video seems to work ok on the CR11S ... I have a Logitech c270 camera, I will test it on the CR11S .... I believe their is a 4.3 update for the CR11S with the Bluetooth stack fix too ... Just about all the reviews on the CR11S were very positive, another thing their is a lot of support for Rock Chip Android TV boxes ... Check out the review here http://translate.google.com/translat...y-audio-5-1%2F .... Use Google Translator ...! Their is another review here with a link to a Xbmc that plays in 720p/1080p with the MS player http://makesmarttv.net/review-cloudn...ndroid-tv-box/ .... The Xbmc 720p/1080p link is here http://wololo.net/downloads/index.php/download/7975 ....

Does the CR11S come with the new 4.3 OS upgrade pre installed ....? (Just found out the 4.3 upgrade is in the works)

Hey Tech1. Had a few moments last night and managed to check out the Space Colony live wallpaper, but not other bits yet. Looks pretty cool. I've never really used one before. Only tried for a few minutes, but seems pretty stable. I'll try the other bits out when I get a chance, but will leave this as my background and report back if there is instability.

Hi, I'm new here and got my Cloudnetgo CR11s last week, but I have some questions:

-How can I hide the Google Search bar?
-When I click on the two arrows on the taskbar, it disapears but how does it come back? I only got it back because I did a restart.
-I found an update (from here: http://www.myhdplayer.de/Android-TV-...-Mikrofon.html under Firmware with this name: CR11S_cloudnetgo_20131020_AP6210_1080P) but I dont know how to install it or is there any other page with updates?
-And the last question, is it normal that the Wlan is a little bit slow? My Samsung Galaxy S3 is faster and with this box I can't really watch youtube videos in HD because it is every two seconds loading.

                              Hi,

I tried to channel a bit the information about this device in one thread:

Maybe we should move some of the activity there in order to make information more accessible...
