Ha wait you trying to pair in the 1º screen? ye... it wont pair since i have bt disabled by default, you need to enable it 1º in settings, i forgot to enable it...
I do like to set it off by default to my personal roms, and i forgot to enable it to the public ones lol :P

Your theory is incorrect, because I m able to connect remote over WIFI and pair it, and this feature (Setup using my phone) has nothing to with Bluetooth so its something else. but never mind its not important feature, as its only one time usage.

you trying to use the atv remote app im correct?
Or you talking about setup pair your account? where you get a code to set in the phone?
Just trying to understand, because if its the atv remote app then only wifi is working because i have bt disabled by default.
If its the setup pair your account, i removed the step where you can login using your phone because its old, this setup wizard is from android 8, the newer ones from 9>up is bound at sdk compile time to that build.

3-Tried with both User and Debug. same issue
4-Thats fine, its might be something related to encryption, I couldn't get it working so moved back to higwaystar
5-Thats a bug for sure,I did restart bluetooth just to be sure

the 3 i cant reproduce it here always goes to recovery, make sure you do not have a usb stick or a sdcard in the box with a recovery.img in it.
the 5 im really not sure what you mean for real :/ i do not have any issues with bt on any of the bt chips builds.

yes wifi only, no BT since i did not do a RTL BT version.

To anyone who can't use the remote the ps3, ps4 and xbox controller are working.
You can use them if you want to input the wifi password to skip the initial setup and then install a android remote app to use your cellphone as a remote controller.

Btw superceleron the u-boot from bumerc is working fine for now except for an error at 2% when flashing it (maybe caused by the repack i'm using on windows "Customization Tool"), i will test it more and let you know.

Ye i enabled a "ton" of gamepads.
Good i made my DDR3/DDR4 uboots 912 for both so some boxes with "cheap" ram chips might have some issues with it.
For LPDDR3 i set it in the middle 744, so it should work on pretty much "all" boxes out there.
But glad is working ok for you the uboot he did

I suspect you don't care and that's why its not in your ROM, however I still prefer it, any help much appreciated, thank you.

EDIT : I found a way to get the white settings back.extracted the Settings, Droid Settings and SystemUI from DavietPDA's Rom and then replaced it with root explorer in priv-app folder, set the permissions 644 (files) and 755(folders) , reboot...Done

So i removed a few stuff.
If you wait a few days im doing a "normal" build with all that you want, just wont be ATV.
That includes settings.apk fixed since the one from khadas sdk is broken in some places and has some missing stuff.

That would be sweet! Trying out Slimbox 5.1 AOSP right now...no play store...but everyone's work towards Android 9 is spectacular!

I may sound needy, but, a LPDDR3 build would be nice. Bricked my box (again!) trying Customization Tool and your LPDDR files.
I think that makes about 7out 7 fails with the tool in the past 12+ months.

I tried your rom and it worked very good for the tx9s box

I had already a backup from my old rom and I tried to restore it through twrp recovery but it failed ,now the box stuck at boot logo,I can open the stock recovery or even boot the twrp from the sd card

but I can’t install other firmware with the sd card method,the green android icon appears for half a sec and disappears and it goes back to the boot screen

also I am not able to connect it to usb burning tools like before and I tried the short pin method in 2 different Locations that I found online without any luck


is the any way to flash my old img firmware on it or even fix yours atv 9 firmware?
