Hi there, great rom!!!!

Any idea why I need to click sign in to network everytime system is powered up or a wifi connection is added? It even does this with ethernet connected.
I've turned off wifi preferences (turn on wifi automatically and open wifi network notification)

Sorry to hear that, but the note is very clear at 1st page !!
Please download the latest version from here https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...-TPyiK236-Hu1f (16/10/2020) and install it.
If the wifi/bt are fine in that version you may make a backup of the partitions with not-permanent TWRP (see 1st page how).
After that you may reinstall my custom rom and using TWRP just replace VENDOR partition.

Hey I tried this on h96 max x3. I new one, and wifi/bluetooth is broke, i guess i have the new one with the blue board. I tried the genetic Coreelec on it, and wifi / bluetooth work. I would rather have this rom, is there a solution to this?

Did you first made a backup of your partitions as I say at the Note at 1st page?
If yes, then just restore the VENDOR partition through TWRP.

1. For Play Store download and install this version and reboot https://apkpure.com/google-play-stor...ndroid.vending
(This will fix the problem although one or two users say that first they had to uninstall any Play Store updates and even delete and reinsert their account. I don't think this is necessary)
Please also after that click about 8 times (fast ) upon the version number in the "Settings" of Play Store. This will make you a developer and probably even give you newer versions.

2. If for some reason you get a loop, turn off your box(unplug your power adaptor). Insert a toothpick/or an open paperclip, into the AV hole and keep pressing the reset button (in the center and gently). While you keep pressing, insert the power plug and after 3-4 seconds release the reset button. You will be in the TWRP and you can restore any partition you like.

3. About HBO I can't help you as I don't use it.
edit: Did you try to delete the cache memory of the apk? (Settings-Applications-HBO apk and there delete "cache memory").

It was working the correct rom for me.
Suddenly, the HBO application stopped working.

I reinstalled the rom via USBburning.
I got HBO to work for me as before, but today it stopped working again with the same text 'connection error.

I use Google Play Store but you can use also Apkpure. It's up to you.
In Play Store you can also try my new "discovery". Go to Settings of Play Store, find the version number and click quickly upon it about 8 times. You will become a developer there and maybe it will update itself to a newer version (if there is one available of course) !!

I have the habbit to use Task Killer after using 3 or more apks. I like to have my system as clear and as quick as possible. Also if you do not use the Task Killer some apks may be open even after a reboot.
You should configure basic apks (like TaskBar, PowerShade etc) to start automatically after every reboot. You should also give them all the required rights/licences.

Magisk Manager
As they say "If something functions right, don't touch it" !! So if you have access to everything you wish it is better not to update them. Otherwise you may have to do/add additional moves/modules etc.

Reboot
Yes probably this apk is useless once you have/use Power Menu (with many more options).

You can uninstall/delete any apk you think you don't need it. You have also an excellent apk "Root Explorer" which will help you to delete almost anything (but of course be very carefull what you do with it}

This rom works perfectly for the boxes of the title. Also as you can see at 1st page is working for "tictid tx6" (I didn't know that, but the user decided to try it by himself-with success !!).

As you can see here there are contradictory feedback for if you can use H96 max X3 firmware to a Tanix TX5 plus S905X3 https://forum.freaktab.com/forum/tv-...ge2#post815897 (last 2 posts).

There is always a little trick you can do if you want to try it by yourself.
1. Make a backup of your partitions (with stock rom) using one of these not-permanenta TWRPs https://mega.nz/file/FpVhjarS#a10sIf...h-CpPpsxF2Y2H8 or https://mega.nz/file/R9MjkazL#MIEGGP...seSGqIOB8BoNaU or https://yadi.sk/d/9biqgCMI7RMuRA (only use the same for Backup/Restore).
2. Install my custom firmware with USB Burning Tool.
3. If you have problems (either with the wifi or ethernet or remote control etc) just replace the VENDOR partition with TWRP and the Vendor you backed up from your stock rom !!!!!

Note1: Since in my rom I have a permanent TWRP 3.3.1 probably the best choice is a similar not-permanent TWRP for Backup (having 3.3.1 inside its name).
Note2: You are the only one responsible for whatever you do.
