There is not enough choice of digital audio format

In android11 that "sound choice" is not needed, it automatically does it.
Also you wont get any of that formats on a non certified device(Certified android), if you want all of that on a non certified device you need CoreElec.

Weird, thks for reporting i will check it.
But i already have a idea where the issue is, and i think i might need to have 2 builds one only for Tanix X4 and a more "Generic" one for the other devices.

I've installed tanix firmware and sound come back to SPDIF. I hope in the next update can fix it, we will appreciate your work.
This is the Tanix Firmware, if someone else is interested on it (S905X4-20220620.img - Google Drive)

Last sunday was working very well with Tanix ROM, but later to this update v6 (the first one I update), there is not audio...
I put a headphone to catch a noise or something related with SPDIF , but there is not noise, so it's not sending anything else later this update.

This DAC work with 32, 44.1, 48 y 96 KHZ up to 192khz/24 bits.

AC3, DTS....other - not work

Ye i suspected that, when i mean fixed is that it was not playing at all.
The AC3 i need to do some changes, the DTS forget it on Android you need certifications.. and that will never happen.
If you really need that, i recommend you using CoreElec.

Check Corelec forum, is there how you can create the usb/sdcard.

On top of things as always LG. Will test on a fresh A95X F4 that has major stuttering issues on stock firmware and then report back! Abraço

ATV v5 working flawlessly on a A95X F4 4/32 that already had Android 11 but video streaming was stuttering a lot.
Stock remote, LAN and Wi-FI work, RGB top lights and front clock don't.
Only noticed that the remote sends it to standby perfectly but is sometimes reluctant to wake it back again.
Installed straight ATV v5 trough Burn Tool 3.20 without a hitch at first try on Win 11 64.
