Whilst waiting for the new build, I decided to download the June 15th version but for some reason each attempt was aborted at around the 20Mbytes mark. File is 471Mbytes. Is there any reason for this?

For around 20 hours....

There is an Notification/popup that cant be
Disabled/unchecked/turned off

system UI isnt responding

close app

Wait

Can be annoying

After that
All is Good!!!

Switching between OS is awesome!!!!

Even more so now that CoreELEC has

Reboot From eMMc/Nand

Can switch back and forth

There are many settings left to test on Both OS

I have installed this OS for the first time. I like the simple layout very much and the fact that it is not bloated with a lot of apps which I can't remove and which I will never use anyway.

Most probably my points below are simply due to the fact that I have yet to learn of all the options available. Here are my comments:

1. I need to decrease the screen size to about 95% of default since part of the top line is out of view. From TV side, size is set to the bare minimum.
2. I would like to turn off the clicking sound each time you click on something since I find this annoying. I found an option which partially works except when I am clicking on the virtual keyboard.
3. In Google Store, when I attempt to install Chrome, the system starts to download but then exits immediately. However I had no problem installing Firefox. Also searching for YouTube on an Android 7 box gives you several options. On Android 11 you get loads of suggestions but none seem related to Youtube!

Finally, can someone amplify on the following statements?

Thks for your test, weird the systemui issue, i do not have but remember i also do not have that device so can be something specific to it.
Ye i think "switch OS" is nice, it was one of the things i wanted to implement on android11 i was just waiting for a more proper support of coreelec

Well you are like me, i do not like to many crap on my builds, the users are always free to install the apps they want after... is what i think.

1, ye that is a issue with some TV, that is why its there screen size setting, so you guys can set it to the correct size... in the next build i will add a white box to show the correct size to that option.
2. you can turn it off in the settings
3. well hmm i did not try to install chrome from playstore to see what is the issue, you have the youtube app already installed.. is that what you mean? or you mean the "voice" search?

There are at least 2 versions of yuotube in the store. The one installed has the youtube red logo on a black background. This requires horizontal scrolling to get to videos outside the right hand side of the screen. I cannot scroll horizontally with a standard wireless mouse or at least I don't yet know how.
The other version has the red logo on a white background. In this version all the videos are fitted within the width of the screen so all I need do is scroll up and down.

I will go through each video but if you can indicate the one related to this topic it would help.

Ok i got what you mean on youtube, the one that comes with the build is the one from the AndroidTV, so is more remote dpad oriented.
So the one you need is the regular one, you can find it on playstore for sure.

The problem is that when I do a search for youtube the screenshot below is all I get.

Note that search works ok on all other items I looked up. There is also the Chrome issue. I wonder if this is Google related?

Well i do not have the time to test it now, at least for 2 or 3 weeks, anyway you can always sideload it from usb stick the apks.
I know its not the ideal, but for now it as to be like that
