I am trying build kvim source for vontar x4 lan 1000,
but so far without success, on yours firmare no wifi 6335, lan JL2101 (rtl8211f). Sadly

well i added a few more wifi drivers to my next build, it wont be the "normal" but the ATV for now.
The lan, i cant remember if my kernel has support for it, but i will enable the generic rtl driver... just not sure about the pins on the device tree.

Thanks, but it will help. Everything is more complicated there with jl2xx1 https://github.com/unifreq/linux-5.4.../jl2xxx-core.h. But I did it with the boot and vendor_boot substitution, but sometimes I get the my app error, there is no such thing on the tv version mod vontar x4(1000) https://fex.net/ru/s/mnrrzcf
Now I'm trying to get openvfd, but so far without success.

ho you wanted the JLSemi driver, i will add it in the next version.
The openvfd you also need to replace the device tree and possibly also the kernel to make it work.
Just replace te _aml_dtb.PARTITION(this is the device tree) and the boot_a.PARTITION(kernel), you also need to make changes to the system... this one is way more complicated!!!

It does work. I've tested it on a few s905x4 boxes. Just follow the readme doc included.

Thanks superceleron for testing the Recovery.
As gbox23 claimed it is a "Temporary" Recovery only.
This means it can only be loaded using an SD Card and Pressing the Reset button during the boot-up process.
It would be amazing if you can incorporate this into your Build as a PERMANENT solution. This is one of the critical things that's missing from your fantastic Custom ROM for Tanxi X4 Amlogic S905X4 Android TV Box.
Looking forward to the same and the Android 13 Build as well.

Ok, I have installed this MOD on x96 x4 Pro 1000MB successfully, however there are minor issues.

1. Wifi does not work.
2. The ONN 4k Remote works awesome with it.
3. Ethernet hard line does not work.
4. Rebooting the device did not make a difference.

"normal" means Mobile playstore, nothing else!
and remember i did this build for the tanix x4 and no other device!
And yes i know about the fn-link issues, like i said is a driver issue on my sdk and i already asked for the new fixed driver still did not get it...

I can confirm that Tanix has swapped the RTL chipset with one from Fn-Link.
superceleron Please embed the Wi-Fi driver for the Fn-Link K255B-SR in your build. Here's the Product Link.
It is a Basic 1T1R 5G Wi-Fi BT Module. with BT5 and WiFi clubbed together.
Is the Fn-Link chipset driver embedded in the ATV build?
