Waiting for people to test it, since I don't have PT. Will report back.

Iam running XBMC 14.0-aplha4 Git:2014-10-11-1d88850 (compiled: oct 10. 2014) Is is the stock version that comes with my Rikomagic MK902ii
This XBMC plays Dolby digital 5.1 when i enable (Enable dolby digital transcoding) in XBMC.. if i disable this it only plays the movie in 2.0 when using PT. (My AMP supports LPCM so i should disable this but then it do not work)

If i uses the same settings in SPMC 13.3.4 (i get a better picture) but then there is only noise when i enable PT.

      Any ideas?

the beta 13.3.4 (also the latest non-beta) renders all the movies a lot darker than i was used with other android boxes (such as mk908, rk3066 and 2 amlogic, dual and quad).
is it normal on this rk new chip?

Yes, you can change the contrast, brightness in Android Settings on RK3288 devices.

I have an rk3288 device (beelink r89) and PT up to now just working with patched kodi beta 1 and patched medialib but this version always crashed when skipping.

Is there a way to get SPMC running with PT? The actual beta just stutters

Can't the Passthrough method of Stafstrom or Kodi beta 4 be used in SPMC or is it too old/new?
If ffmpeg in SPMC is upgraded will that help with PT, since Kodi uses newer ffmpeg or use external libffmpeg.so from Rockchip?

                Hi,
is spmc able to reproduce x265 codec video?
i was playing a movie that use that library but video and audio were stuttering.
                thanks

                  Yes, only on RK3288 devices.
RK3188 like MiniX Neo X7 will only be able to play 480p or 720p(using software) and you need the latest firmware after June 2014.
Also try SPMC v13.3.4 beta 1

I have tested SPMC 13.3.4 beta 1 with x265 on rk3288 device: playback is fine (much better than kodi) but rewind and fast foraward don't work. Is this a known issue or is there any workaround?

                      Hi
                      Im using SPMC 13.3.3
Could anyone tell me witch is the best setting for use with this option:
                      <network>
                      <buffermode>1</buffermode>
                      <cachemembuffersize>0</cachemembuffersize>
                      <curlclienttimeout>60</curlclienttimeout>
                      <curllowspeedtime>240</curllowspeedtime>
                      <readbufferfactor>10</readbufferfactor>
                      </network>
Witch is the highest value to use in it to prevent buffering issues????
                      Thanks

                          For Rockchip
Does passthrough sound work correctly or still make hissing sounds?
Do you still need a patched libmedia.so file?
Do you need to use video.use.overlay=1 in build.prop for video?

Works for me with the latest Rockchip passthrough patch. Should work with patched libmedia.so, too, I guess.
                            Yep, you need "video.use.overlay".

If there is a passthrough patch from Rockchip, can you upload it?
Almost all RK3288 haven't received new firmware updates since 20/11/2014 and it might take a few more weeks before manufacturers roll out updates.

It's not just about libmedia. They tweaked into ALSA, too.
