Power supply
Does anyone experience the same as below?

thanks for the good work.
Until now this firmware gives me the best result on my CX-919 II.
However it still starts flashing after a few minutes.
It does not need to play some video for it.
Just opening the main screen reproduces this.
I opened the device and it appeared that one chip in partical was quite hot.
It is the Active 8846QM CD355 chip.
This chip takes care of the power supply.
My outlet adapter supplies 2A 10W. Will increasing this to a 3A 15W fix this problem?
As it starts after a few minutes I suspect a heating problem.
It only reproduces when 1080p is selected.
Regards, Jeroen

I bought this stick cause of ur thread. But i think my stick is a different 1 than yours.
I had only 16.6xx points at antutu with stock firmware. With your kernel about 17.xxx points.
Also i have problems to install kitkat rom. See here http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...l=1#post130099
I think the new boatloder 2.xx is the problem. The bootloader bricks the device, only solutuion to get it back is to short the pins on the nand chip.
Pls zetzzz, can u check if we have the same stick?
Can u make some pics of ur stick and the package in which came the stick with?
In that posted link/thread above a guy is talking about that the stick is fake.
Thx

As i told you, my stick is exectly like yrs, all designations on it are the same. I bricked it several times trying to install verious roms made for similar sticks, but any time it was possible to unbrick it following the steps i wrote. Following to the log u post, yr device rhas broken nand. As far as i know, its uncureble...So, i belive it would be better for u try to discuss this hw issue with yr seller, perhaps he can substitite the device to another one. Any case, i wish u luck in yr hardwork
By the way, can u tell me, wich kernel returns above 17000 antutu points?Last edited by SirSer; 11 January 2014, 09:00.

Im using this kernel in this http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...l=1#post113248 kernel working at 1.8 ghz and gives me about +- 19400 points in antutu and using setcpu app to put it on 1.6 ghz gives me +-18200 points. On 1.8 ghz its a bit hot while running antutu but works without any problems.
Or check this post or thread. Im getting 18400 with stock kernel http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...l=1#post120766cx-919ii
