However, I would suggest the default key operations could be tuned to better suit XBMC, but this is beyond this topic.

Why are you even posting this? This was not directed at you, the rom was modded by lewy20041 and is able to run his version of the software that has an issue with it that has been discussed in another thread concerning this rom.

Because this thread is titled firmware rather than XBMC...

However, any issues are best discussed to find a resolution.

Regarding the other thread, what issue are you experiencing on this ROM?

I am continually running the latest nightly of Gotham without any issues as a MythTV frontend.

use wendal tools to unpack the firmware if you need kernel.
or get it after instalation both 1080p and 720p are in system/preinstall folder

did you build this kernel, or is it only a patched kernel?
I would like to get the kernelsource with config, to be able to build a new kernel with full v4l-support for my dvb-c-adapter.
I have crosscompiled a driver for my Wintv-hvr-930c-hd.
But some symbolic links not working, because not implented in v4l-core.
Please, can you tell me where to get the kernel with config for rev.2-board?

After turning off and on my wifi is poor again
I can turn the Antenna in every direction, its not even able to build up the Appstore startpage so it really seems to be a software bug

Do you have anything connected via bluetooth? I had the same issue when I connected a bluetooth speaker to the T-R42 and used wifi. While still connected to bluetooth device, I toggled wifi completely off and then back on. It fixed the issue. However, I had to do the procedure every time I reconnected a bluetooth device to the T-R42 or turned it off.

The alternative is run a cable to the T-R42. Hope that helps

I install your firmware with my Jesurun DX05 with bluetooth and not works. I use firmware by wasser version 1.2.3 and works ok. I send you link to my stock firmware but hotfile is not working now - if you want i will upload in mediafire or else services.

Make sure that you flashing 720p kernel in 720p mode and 1080p kernel in 1080p mode.

Sounds like your Jesurum DX05 is a T-R42 V1 supported by Wasser rather than T-R42 V2 supported by Lewy20041.

There are many hardware difference between V1 and V2 so it maybe wise to run Wasser's ROM's for full hardware functionality.

WIFI issue

Hi to all. I have receive 5 pcs. t-r42 v2.0 hw rev. and each ones have very bad wifi perfomance - 0.2 mb down., 3-7mb ( signal strench is good). I have tryed all existant firmwares(stock and lewy) - same result(((
