MXplayer is working by default here.
XBMC does also need a little sound Setting, choose hdmi, make sure to have a libmedia version of XBMC installed..

but when it comes to REAR it plays from FRONT...not sure how do you guys test 5.1 sound. Can u try this one or suggest how else to test?

MX Player - ive installed custom codec Arm_v7_Neon_v1.7.21
XBMC from QUICKSHOT i dont have HDMI option
Ive set Audio Output : Optival/Coax
but in : Passthrough output device: Error - no devices found

after ive put libmedia.so hacked - same problem

Then ive found in other thread "justXBMCv4_MXPlayerDeFaultXZ265_HauBlr_Hack"

I have HDMI option and all as it suppose to be ,

If hold long and play via MX Player (from XMBC) still sound is not coming from REAR on test
If i chose DVDPlayer sound is just cracking noise...


Not sure what else to try

Try to disable that codec in MXplayer, then i think it should be working.. Passthrough is only working with "hw" and not "hw+" btw..
I'm not using MXplayer alot more, JustXBMC v4 seems to handle my video stream from synology just fine, i Can play 1080p just fine with 5.1..

Thx leolas. I will TNT rom with one kernel from that link: - cpu 1704 gpu stock and ddr720, when get some pad will try gpu oc too for test. Thx again.

Overlay option is set to OFF on default configuration or i need to use your patch to make it OFF on 720p kernel?

The xbmc app in the rom is modified to act as a launcher, so you can use it like launcher and every time you turn on your x7 it will open xbmc by default. The no launcher version is the normal app, it will not run by default on start and you will see the normal Android launcher.
After we uploaded this versions, we tested Flumpster's beyond xbmc and we can say it's better to use it than ours. we recommend uninstalling our xbmc and install beyond xbmc.

we don't have this webcam but it probably work since it's supported by the kernel. you probably will need the Skype app provided by minix, don't install skype from playstore. you will find Skype at the first page of this thread in the removed apps pack.

I really love that the box goes to sleep when idle, and wakes up with a mouse click. But it gives me some problems with playing music.

I tried with apps 'DS Audio' and 'ArmAmp' for now, and after 1.5minutes or so, the box falls asleep. This means that if i want to hear music, i need to move the mouse every minute or so I use 'Netflix' a lot, and it works perfectly! It prevents the box from falling asleep.

I looked through all settings menus in the ROM hoping to find the sleep-feature and turn it on/off, but i can't seem to find it? Is it hust me being blind again?

I would really love to have the Sleep feature in the setting, being able to turn it on/off, maybe also being able to select how long the box will wait before putting screen to sleep.
