What a commitment here to help ppl out kudos!

Hey guys! First of all I want to thank you all for the information so far. I'm a happy owner of a CS968 and your posts help alot!

Since a few days I'm experimenting with different ROM's I found here and on XDA. I have to admit that there was alot of confusing stuff concerning this device. Name / type differences all over the place!

Currently I'm using "CR11S_cloudnetgo_ap6210_Cam5640_1080p_2013011107_ update.img" in combination with BeyondXBMC. Works really well so far. Wifi doesn't work (don't care) and I have the 2MP version instead of the 5MP version but who want's to use such a shabby camera anyway!

Because of all the model confusion on my side I took the cover off and see what was really "under tha hood" . It seems it's a HTC018 v3 board with the MT5921SA and the MT6622N chip. Now the million dollar question..... Can I only use the ROM's that have the T018xxxx in their file description?

Now I have the CS11S ROM and can't complain but don't know If I should stick to specific ROM's instead.

The current ROM you are using is outdate ....!

You can user either of the ROM builds below 1080p, Libmedia.so Hack READY, OpenVPN READY ...! I recommend you use the 2MP ROM, but if you want to use the 5MP ROM build, that's your choice ... The 5MP Cam will not give you a better cam, on a 2MP CR11S ...

I flased your rom. Is an XBMC preinstalled on this. If i wanna use Beyond XBMC can I uninstall the stock XBMC or the Beyond version need it?

Go back and read post number one very well, take your time, get a understanding of everything ... Post number one doesn't say "Beyond XBMC" is already installed in the ROM builds ... You have to download it from the site in post # 1 ... Get "Beyond XBMC" set up first, then uninstall the other XBMC build ....

BTW... Is there a way to set a different default output for the audio? With all ROM's the settings were reset after a reboot. I've read a post or two about this but never got a clear answer how to change to RK1000_passthrough if even possible.

I istalled the Beyond XBMC. My question it was that I can unistall the stok XBMC, but now I got the answer.Thank for your patience.

That's something I want to know to, I'm tired and have to remember after every reboot to change my audio setting back to pass through ... If you know of a site, that tells you how to set one audio to default, let me know ASAP ...(lol)

One question. I saw, you have the v3 version of the TV01/cs968 with mediatek wifi/bluetooth. Does bt and wifi work with the cr11s Roms?

Okay, that's what I assumed. This means for you, only cs968 firmwares with mediatek BT/WiFi chip support would help you for your v3 .
