I will look into this for you ...! Let me know which Finless ROM has 1080i ...!

this guy said that he used finless rom 1.7 on mk808b to have it play on a 1080i hdtv.

"I managed to get the TV to recognize the MK808B by flashing Finless ROM 1.7. I had previously tried 2.1 with default 720p resolution but the it did not work. Not sure why, but for the time being I will stay with 1.7."

There are some variants such as AP6210.

Question: was it designed for full 1080 support or should I expect some slow response from the box when in 1080?
Beyond XMBC plays all of 1080 movies with a bit of jerking here and there, and in some movies it pauses for a split second after every 5 -6 sec. MX player delivers a bit more enoyable playback, but there is a bit of jerking as well.

Am I the only experiencing these issues?
Is there any remedy?

Yes you have to open the box to see what chip you have.

Possible to see Wifi/CPU chip set without open the box!

Hi all,
I found 2 apps that can detect the wifi/cpu chipset without open the box up. I tested on a few devices 3066 and 3188 and it works well. I just need someone with the CR11s or CS968 (since I don't have either device yet) to run the app to see if it reports the correct chip set.
For Wifi chipset - app name is Wi-Mark: reception benchmark (just search for wi-mark in play store).
For CPU chipset - app name is CPU/RAM/DEVICE identifier. (just search for cpu/ram in play store)

Clean install of this ROM usiing Beyond XBMC Beta3.3 = 720p super, 1080p 6-7fps drop :-(
Even tried many nightly and monthly builds, but results are worse!
The best XBMC i ever tried is XBMC for MiniX Beta 2, buut still gives me 4-5fps drop on 1080p videos!
Is there any way to o/c gpu and ram since we cant do anything on 3188T cpu?

Tried Wi-mark doesn't display right chipset.
Tried CPU/RAM/DEVICE it did correctly identify the cpu as 3188

Surprised to see it clocked at 1.42 ghz

Anyone one know of a open recovery that works with this combination? I'd love to have a backup when flashing ROM's that weren't designed for my model!

3.1 isn't the newest anymore mate. 3.2 and 3.3 have been out for over a week and doesn't require any spoofing any more.
