New firmware build #667
Hi folks,
another firmware seems to exist for the M7T.
Build #667 was delivered with my recently bought M7T from http://www.geekbuying.com/item/Pipo-...GB-324620.html.
Sorry, I can't upload a screenshot. Everytime no valid format although it's a small .jpg?!?
Build-Number is:
rk30sdk-eng 4.2.2 JDQ39 eng.root.201404011.142551 test-keys
I have no idea what's the difference between firmware #645 and #667.
Do changelogs for the different builds exist - maybe in chinese language which someone can translate into english?
This sounds like a changelog:
"M7T new upgraded Rom # 645
This Rom is designated for M7T model after 2/26
If you flashed the wrong rom, it will lead to unfunctional power button and can not enter screen-lock mode."
I was not able to figure out which part of which (serial)number on the box should indicate the date of build. Can someone post an example?
Regards

Finally got my M7T this morning. My serial number starts with 1404 so I presume that its build in April 2014 and tried 1.20a, and power button is working fine. Yes mine was with #667 firmware as well but performance, honestly, have been quite disappointed. But on 1.20a 3G is not working. It's shows in preferences about phone that Baseband unknown. And to connect to WiFi you have to restart tablet every time you change AP, otherwise it is not connecting to Internet, still connected to WiFI AP though. Also video performance is poor on both ROMs, 1.20a and #667 (original). All videos choppy and dropping frames. With HW and SW acceleration. Is anything I can do to fix video playing?
Thank you.

m7t
Hi friends,
I'm new here and I bought a m7t.
I had the last firmware(released Apr 2014) on the tablet but I couldn't use the tablet as talephone or 3G indoor because I could not reach any network.
Geekbuying adviced me to change firmware to #649. Big Mistake. Now it always reboots and lags.
How can I recover the first firmware once I can not find it in the site of pipo?
Is it possible after this to solve the problem with the network signal? I tested many sim cards.
I downloaded the clockworkmod.rar but I don't Know how I can flash it. Please help.
Sorry for my English.
Thanks in andvance.
