@rrileypm: flashed v1.2.5.1 without problems - just followed your instructions in the included PDF file
After short testing: everything fine, 4 GB app space by changing the parameter file

    comments on this release:
    - first boot animation says v1.2.5
    - Modellnummer (model number) is GT-I9300 (M7T?)
    - Zusätzliche Systemupdates (additional system updates) -> force close

=> so far nothing to worry about

Since it was such a small fix, I decided to keep the same animation this time. 1.2.5.1 is just a designation I included so people wouldn't be confused about which of the two new ROM's they had. 1.2.5 has been deleted from the server since it contained an error.

The script I use to make my ROM's removes an app for modification...but I had commented out the line that put the modified app back...therefore the home button and notifications were non-functional. A quick edit of my script...and complete run through of ROM again fixed the problem.

The model number has changed to spoof Google Play Store into thinking you are running a Samsung device. This will allow you to get most of the apps from the Google Play Store. If you prefer to have M7T...you can edit that line in the build.prop.

I've disabled the system updates to prevent OTA updates from loading...which will cause problems with the rooted system. Since the app is missing...you will get a force close when you try to use a function that is no longer in the system.

Thanks for testing!!!!!! I'm sure this will be a very stable ROM for those who wish to stick with Jellybean.

Thank you very much for your explanations, Riley.

I was just kidding about the version number .

The idea of fooling Google Play Store by appearing as another device to get more apps is clever (and easy if this is the only check) .

Disabling system updates to prevent OTA updates from loading is the best way to prevent the system from getting messed up. So I can't blame you for that .

I'll stick to Jellybean until a rockstable version of KitKat for the M7T is released by PiPO ... if ever .

          Hello Randy,
I have a problem. Hope you can help me. It's the sound. When my M7T playing any video by stock or any others players sound only goes to headphones. I've been thinking speakers gone bad but when I making call or playing sound from settings choosing default sound for example it is working just fine. Also when you adjusting volume level there is three bars and for alarm and ringtone&notifications you can here sound drugging volume up and down but for Music&Games, &other media nothing. Oh! I just checked sound in games not working as well. Actually I remember same thing was in your KK Rom also but since I was using it mostly for reading only my daughter was complaining about it but I was thinking it's just volumes is down and didn't know how to adjust it. But now I see it is a problem. What do you think can cause this weird problem? Media and Games sounds goes only to headphones but ringtone, voice and notification sound works fine in speakers and headphones.
          Thank you in advance.

Try downloading an app called Viper4Android FX version. You will need to install drivers after the installation of the app (they are included). There are more advanced sound settings available to play around and see if you can get your media sound to work.

              Thank you Randy.
I just installed and tried V4A. Played with settings but no effect on this problem. Is there anythings else I could try?

Well I found solution. I figure that tablet alway think that headphones is plugged in buy installing the simple app calls Headphone indicator. It is shows "Headphones are plugged in" always, doesn't matter if they are really there or not. First I used an app Soundabout and select media always goes to earpiece (not speakers, since M7T is "phablet". Rout to speakers won't work). And it does! Happy happy. Then I found more easier and free solution. HF Button Widget doing it by just one touch, Simply disabling headphone detection or something.
Long story short it is a hardware issue I believe. (((
Thank you so much for your help anyway. Now I just know that if someone will have this kind of issue, first thing is to suggest install Headphone indicator and see if it is a hardware or software related.
It's tones of cases like that on google I found by the way.

After lots of learning and puzzling a q-tip and little amount of alcohol did the trick!

                    Hi Riley,

                    the M7T RileyROM v1.2.5.1

seems not to be compatible with

                    xposed framework (http://forum.xda-developers.com/xpos...gelog-t2714053)

                    and

                    XPrivacy (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...nstaller&hl=de)

... you can make your XPrivacy settings (tested with different xposed framework and XPrivacy versions) ... but they have no effect ... with the original #667 firmware blocking anything was possible

That's correct. Some of those modules don't work in Kitkat.

That's ok for KitKat but this thread is about the latest Jellybean firmware (4.2.2) stock #667 / M7T RileyROM v1.2.5.1

                            My pleasure!

Any idea why everything is fine with the stock #667 firmware and no function of XPrivacy by using the M7T RileyROM v1.2.5.1?
xposed framework and XPrivacy report to be installed properly on the M7T RileyROM v1.2.5.1 ...

I'm not exactly sure what might be causing that problem. It's possible that the version of superuser is blocking the change...that's the only major change I've made that would affect permission handling.

Change of Superuser application on the fly possible?

Is there a safe way to change your installed Superuser (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...utta.superuser) with SuperSU (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d....supersu&hl=de) on the fly which I used successfully to run XPrivacy with the stock #667 firmware?
