It seems to be the most stable one, KitKat (PiPO M7T_software_Chinese version_20140612_android4.4.2) is just a bad joke due to permanent reboots ... and I lost my backup of the 4.2.2 #667 build

    Here is official: https://yadi.sk/d/X7wJLbTtUnjmU

you are right it is better in some way but 3G and GPS was not usable for me at all.

        Pipo M7T 4.2.2 #667 build firmware

Wow guys, you are really fast in replying

@rrileypm: Take your time, everyone needs time to relax ... thanks in advance.

@shrisha: Thanks for the download link. You saved my M7T from getting kicked out of the window ! Where do you get this #667 update image from - it looks like an official PiPO firmware from a Baidu server?
Is there any difference between an "usual" and an update image?

I tried the #667 build only a few times with 3G (using the M7T as a mobile phone with a German D2 SIM) und GPS/AGPS with NAVIGON Europe - and was positively impressed about the result.

I got a fast GPS fix by using FasterGPS (https://play.google.com/store/apps/d...astergps&hl=de) and adding some data (http://geotagging-blog.de/2012/06/sc...x-mit-android/).

I don't know. Some nice guy made a mirror. )))
I took M7T to India with me and there 3G was super slow but after switch to 4.4 became very good. May be just some frequencies issue. Will try to downgrade and try with FasterGPS app. Thanks for the tip.

Is your tablet an M7T? The M7 Pro ROM won't work on the M7T tablet.

First of all, you need to make sure you are trying to flash the correct ROM for your tablet.

Next, you will have problems if you are downgrading from KK to JB...or if you are upgrading from JB to KK without checking the boot loader.

The first thing to try is to flash the correct ROM.

What were you running on your M7T previously...a Jellybean (4.2.2) or KitKat (4.4.2) ROM?

                  For the M7T, v1.0 through v1.2a are Jellybean ROM's.

                  v1.3 and v1.4 are KitKat ROM's.

Download the version matching the Android you had on your tablet.

Turn off the tablet by clicking the reset hole on the back with a paper clip.

Run the flash tool for the ROM you want to flash (as you've already done).

Connect USB and hold the vol+ and press power (or esc/power if there are no volume buttons) and the tablet will boot to flash mode.

See that the flash tool recognizes the tablet in Loader Mode.

                  Erase IDB

                  Flash the correct ROM.

Try 1.2a, since we know it works.

I'm getting ready to upload v1.2.5 based on a newer Jellybean firmware...but it isn't tested. You should wait until another user with a working tablet tests it to make sure it's OK. Or, you can try it after you flash 1.2.a and see if you have your tablet back.

See post #1 for the link to v1.2.5. This is a Jellybean ROM based on the firmware #667 posted above. This was the last Jellybean firmware before Pipo started making KitKat releases.

On this particular tablet, some users have experienced lag and instability in the KK ROM's, and this one is supposed to be more stable than 1.2a.

Please keep in mind that you MUST follow the instructions in this thread before switching back to Jellybean from a KitKat ROM: http://www.freaktab.com/showthread.p...an-from-KitKat

Thank you Randy so much for a 1.2.5 Just tried and it is a best ROM for M7T so far. Only a still poor 3G performance there but it's ok. Also want to report few weird bugs. One is Notification drawer is not working. It's but nothing is showing there not a single thing appeared there. So you don't know if downloading finished or how many letter in gmail etc. And second thing is Home button on navigation bar is aslo not working. Like it's just disabled. If you want to go directly to Home screen from the app it is not happening.
But what I love about 1.2.5 it is smoothness and stability. No sudden reboots and freezes so far.
Hope you can fix this little glitches.
                          Thank you once again.
