Your UT2 remote has 4 buttons of color on it. I think the GREEN button will hide the menu bar. Hide it BEFORE you start Beyond XBMC.

Yes, I am aware of that. However, I was wondering if it was possible to make sure it is not visible automatically, so I don't have to press is each time.

While we’re on the subject of controlling this (UT2) unit. What typeof keyboard/mouse combo have people had success with?
I tried a Measy RC12 wireless 2.4G fly mouse and LogitechWireless Touch Keyboard K400
Both seem erratic and sluggish at times is this normal forthis type unit?

He is correct, that is one of the only things I commented on to Ugoos that I missed in the stock rom apart from root which I never expected them to include. I also use the button on the remote to hide it before launching xbmc but it would have been nice to have it in stock rom.

While I had the one I had, I used an el cheapo wireless mouse I bought at Big Lots for 12.00. It had a bit of a problem getting a clean signal because it was very close to a wireless transmitter for my rear surround speakers. Both devices are in 2.4ghz and so I suppose there was some RFI. So I connected a USB extension cable to the USB hub and plugged the mouse dongle into it and that got it far enough away to clear things up and it worked great.
