Ok try the follow. Open up the Build.prop and look for ffmpeg switch line and set it to 0.

See if this fix it.

In the previous thread I posted about Twitch.tv streams not working, and sadly this is still the case. The logcats and such can be found in the old thread.

I have the same problem with streaming video from my PLEX Media Server to PLEX App, video won't play. Worked fine on OEM ROM.

changing the ffmpeg line in build.prop did not help, but I then removed all the media.stagefright.enable* lines too, and streaming started working (as I noticed these aren't present on stock). So currently the ffmpeg is set to 0 and the stagefright lines removed.

I should maybe add that I have not had problems streaming with other software (like netflix, youtube and plex) before or after these changes. In plex tho, sometimes it stays at a black screen, but all you have to do is press Pause and then Play for the video to start.

Any chance of a kernel for the mediatek MT5931 module.

Not only the kernel must be changed also boot image and system image.
But I didn't have a device with mediatek to do it.

I have got the original stock rom which does work, is there any work around i could do by extracting the files using RX31XXX software ???

The gpu should be set to 600.
Check dmesg.

To the users of this rom, is it better than the first one neo posted? I have that one setup but seems to hang here and there. The 1.9a rom an 802 device I tired seemed better but has not optical audio or camera. Just trying to see if this one is better. Either way thanks for your work neo, way farther/better off than we were before!

Does work on the mk802IV T cpu but its limited to 312mhz- 1.2ghz regardless of kernel.

OK so my box wouldn't run any odd the 1.8ghz kernels but the 1.7ghz with 600 ram is awesome. First time I've been able to steam my 1080p mkv over internal Wi-Fi network with no stuttering or anything and I have optical out running to my av receiver for great surround sound. All out of a $100 box. O this is using the new beyondxbmc beta 3.3 build too.

The gpu should be set to 600.
Check dmesg.
