Tech1, I just found out a big issue, my pc can communicate with my device fine, but after I flashed your super/4k video rom, my pc no longer can see my device anymore, either in usb mode or download mode. Do you have any suggestion?? the only way I see right now is to find a zip flashable rom so I copied to my sdcard and flash with CWM. I really want to try out the ultra highdef rom but there's no way for me to flash it... Thanks

Most likely you have a driver issue and go to Settings> Developers option, check mark USB debugging .... Go to Device Manager on your PC, make sure your drivers are installed correctly ...

Tech1, it's not simple as that, I'm an 10 years experience on Android, I have T-r42, usb TV box, cs968 and a few more, I have 2 pc running xp and both pc could see all of my other devices fine. They did connect fine to my new box cs968, then I flash cwm, it's came up and still fine, then I flash your super rom, once came up I did all the setup, now I just realized that the my pc is no longer see my cs968 when I tried to flash your new ultra highdef. My pc stills see my t-r42 fine so I'm sure the usb communication is not working any more. I have tried so many things already before I post here. The only way I can flash another rom is to use cwm but the rom must be in zip format. I just wonder if you could help me to make a cwm zip format for your ultra highdef. Please...Thanks

FYI, I kept unplug/plug the usb cable and about 50 times, the pc found the device...so happy and now I'm flashing the ultra highdef...will post update!!

The best rom to date - Review

REVIEW Update: I flashed the rom, update xbmc to version 3.3. The resolution is the killer of all cs968 rom, the rom itself is much quicker and xbmc is faster also. Wifi, ethernet, bluetooth, all working well. Phone remote control/wireless mouse/keyboard are working well too. Showbox is also pretty smooth (version 2.5 latest). It deserved its name "Ultra hidef". This is the best rom for me to date, being running this for 1 day and zero issue so far. I also tested streaming HD over wifi and it perform well, pretty smooth. When test wifi hd streaming, make sure you select a good source, most people think it's the xbmc issue but it just a poor source. I also setup xbmc to cache to sdcard, where if I have no choice to use a slow source, I let it buffer 75% of the movie to the sdcard before I start play back - never have "cache full message anymore). This rom just make me feel that I do have a true multimedia center, my kids are impressed. They think their daddy is a genious, that bring a high-def resolution movie theater to the living room...They watched from movies to TV shows and it performed flawlessly (from 9am to now 10pm). I just love this rom, not much more to say..flash it now and enjoy!!

Hi! Thanks for your time doing this ROM for our device which are short of them. Is that ROM prerooted? . Is i your mind overclocking the kernel? Since it's a rk3166 it could work at 1.8Ghz without problems I think. Thank you again for helping us.

Yes, it's pre-rooted (rk3188), but I will never ever build a overclocked ROM ...!

Google for cs968-cwm-recovery.img.zip and term-install.zip.I think you can found it inside the forum. Then you will need a terminal commands.send me pm if you need more help.

Here is the CWM recovery for cr11s-5mp camera http://www.freak-tab.de/leolas/cwm/c...covery.img.zip . You need to flash this with RKAndroid tool the latest version 1.37 by Wasser http://www.freak-tab.de/wasser/firmw...sser-1.2.4.zip (just download then unzip the tool is inside the zip.
