Try pressing the power button for 15 seconds. See if that hard reset will fix it.

Otherwise, I'm afraid it's a hardware issue. These Pipo tablets have a highly sensitive voltage regulator/battery protector chip...and it fails quite easily.

USP DAC not working...

FYI: External USB DAC no longer work with the new kernel from ROM 404. It is working with the RileyROM 2.6 default kernel.

There is another new ROM by the way.

I don't know the difference yet. I might try it just to see if that is going to help the external DAC issue.

EDIT: Forget this, my bad, I was using the wrong settings... The USB External DAC are still working with this Kernel!

Thanks Sir Riley, It is quite disturbing, since also I've bought it from a store that knows nothing about the tablet. I do hope it's just a faulty charger...

I think that is the one called a "Brushed" version that you need to flash a particular way... I could be wrong though. I saw it a couple of weeks ago and thought it looked more trouble than it was worth.

I'll stick with this current new kernel unless I find a real problem with it for my particular usage.

Shutdown on standby..

Hello guys...
Firsty congrats for your great rom.. Generally im for sure not happy from my pipo and i will not buy this brand again but im having this right now and thank god we have you and your roms so it makes it a bit better...
i have a problem last days.. My pipo shutdown on standby fuction... Per example im leaving it for half an hour on standby and when i try to open it its just close... this happened 3-4 days ago and then i decided to restore it and i made the procedure again putting the new kernel... still same problem as before.. any ideas? do you think this could be a hardware problem? thanks in advance!

Try the kernel in message 328. It fixed my problem with the powerbutton.

I think "brush" means flash in Chinglish lol.
Would be interesting to hear feedback about this new ROM...

Ill wait for a proper M9 Kitkat rom going forward now I think.
