On the T428 unlike the A928, TWRP should not stay on first boot and it should format NAND (internal SD).
I modified TWRP with a script to do that. Only the A928 has a NAND erase problem with the flash tool not the T428. So it should have worked on your T428
But I have not tried this ROM on the T428 yet so maybe there is a problem there.

If you do get this and no internal sdcard is present, then just use the reboot APP and boot into recovery. Go into the wipe menu and select advanced wipe. Then just click the sdcard only and wipe it. Now it should be formatted so when you boot again it will be there.

Memory is not NAND Flash, it's a tSD. Something similar eMMC with a controller built-in. Maybe this is why some erase problems are found.

Unlikely.

When searching for rom's here look at what wifi chip-sets they are made for.

This one is for the AP6330 and your should be AP6210.

I have used this ROM on a mk908ii and flashed a AP6330 kernel with success. It's not the ROM, it's the kernel. Try flashing this without changing the kernel to see if it boots. (No WiFi) then try flashing AP6210 kernel.

True enough but the kernel does change the rom behavior and you can end up with some unexpected side-affects.
Ended up with daydreams kicking in last time i mixed which was odd since there where no controls in the rom for it.

Upside its damn hard to brick these things so its worth a try.

Only once here although i suspect the device itself was to blame.
Some of those rikomagic MK802III/s where unstable at the best of times and mine was more unstable then a couple of well know female celebs these days.

I also use this ROM on my MK908II non-T for some weeks. Works great. Only some screen glitches, which other ROMs have as well. User Marko33 adviced me to use this ROM, as there is not a recent KK ROM for the MK908II.

You should use D33t kernels use find on this forum, for AP6210 chipset.

I am, actually, very happy. Considering I had 30 return period on a928 I have to say it was well worth the return of the a928. The a928 is a good box but I just don't see the point in buying it when the Vega elite is $105. I got my standard Vega for $100 because of some issues I had with my order.

So while I like the a928 I would never buy one over the Vega. The Vega really is incredibly fast in the UI and throughout everything. It has a terrible kernel from a tablet that makes the performance significantly diminished from what it can really do, but it still kicks the ass out of any rk3188. Also the kernel is outputting true 1080p right from the start.

If i had to guess other android devices are quickly going to replace the rockship devices.

Ehhh.... Amlogic and manufacturers have released the bare minimum required to comply with the GPL, granted it was quickly released but still not much. The problem with Rockchip is it took them forever to release what they legally needed to release.

My communication with amlogic RE: kernels is that they are not ready to publish new source yet. That's all they'll say. Hey at least it's a response!
