This one works ok. You need to replugin your power usb 2 till 4 times to get it going, don't no why. Only its not going as smooth as the kitkat one. The wifi chip is insanely buggy and the device randomly reboots at a higher load.

I have tried both and they are working fine. Unfortunately there is no shutdown button, but still better than haveing no WiFi and BT.

Are these Kitkat roms ? Are they rooted ? If 'only' the shutdown-button is missing and the rest works it's fine by me

I'm downloading these as we speak and can place them on my dropbox for better downloads if neccesary.

No not KitKat - they are 4.2 and honestly I do not see the difference between them. Not rooted as well. But these are the only ROMs I have found for this device. If you know others - let me know.

            Thanks

Black screen with theses two for me.

                Same for Neomode kitkat.

Fort the moment, i use a previous Neomode 802IV old wifi mix with overclock stock UGOOS qc802 kernel but i'm waiting an ethernet adaptator because i have no wifi.

                  up :

I just received a hdmi adapter / dvi to test on a monitor.

With Neomode's kitkat rom, my stick start correctly (no wifi of course)

My TV would have problems to detect the HDMI mode?

Actually that is a fake mk809, because I opened it and I have found exactly this model:
                        CYX_809III_RK3188
                        V2_1 20140208

So I asked the seller to send me a link to stock rom and he sent me that link:

Any news and/or progress ? Which ROM have you tested which had the best results ? Do you get any errors when trying to switch on Wifi ?

                            Hello betalin,

do you know if your supplier is going to release a 4.4 ROM for this stick, with working wifi?

Would it be possible then to get the source code, in order to include wifi/bt drivers in other kernels?

                            thank you!

After some tests, stock firmware works perfectly, but only in 480p or 576p on my TV (wifi and BT are both ok)
It works to in 1080p on a DELL LCD monitor.
(My TV is in 1366 x 768 resolution)

I have not yet had time to do other ROM tests (with stock kernel for wifi) for now.

As bibuba requests, the ideal would be to have the source code to allow changes to the kernel (1366*768 support, adding drivers...) and a kitkat version would be welcome

as i know, not ready yet.
their website can not catch up the seller's speed, website/doc/RnD support act just like shit.
