      I have tested my ROM all day and everything should be OK, however if anyone should find any bugs or have got constructive suggestions to make it better, just say and I will see what I can do

        Flashed rom using the rkbatch tool provided. Rom is single img file.

        WiFi is working 100%

        Bluetooth working 100%

        Tested the main reason I bought it, to play videos though my Panasonic smart tv, not very smart as it don't play some of my old family videos.

        Pleased to say the video judder Is now fixed, so hd videos recorded off my Nokia Lumia play great. tested some Avi films and also no frame skipping.

        I Like the fact that the rom has minimal apps installed giving the user the choice.

        I will keep testing but so far so good 😊. Thank you so much Sam321 for your efforts creating this rom. Hats off to you. Top man!

            I am finding it increasingly frustrating finding a decent rom for this rare device.

            The only rom that is stable is Android 4.2 stock rom, the WiFi and Bluetooth is solid but
            the video playback is an issue, judder. Not good when that was one of the main reasons I bought it.

            I have posted here with regards to this.

            I have tried the d33 custom kernal that says has support for the chipset, but WiFi just
            Switches off. Shame.

            I have asked Smic to have a look at the 4.2 stock rom as it is the only one that is stable with WiFi and Bluetooth, hopefully we may have a decent rom soon.
            I've got some time today, if you remind me of stock ROM DMESG, my ROM DMESG and GPIO dump I'll try to get this sorted.

            [edit] I've seen a DMESG from Damo showing:

            Code:
            [   40.260610] [MT6622] mt_bt_power_off ++[   40.260675] [MT6622] mt_bt_power_off --
            [   40.260958] [MT6622] mt_bt_power_on ++
            [   40.261015] [MT6622] mt_bt_power_on rts iomux
            [   40.261067] [MT6622] mt_bt_power_on +-
            [   41.683221] [MT6622] request_irq IRQ279 success
            [   41.683263] [MT6622] mt_bt_power_on --
            IRQ on RK30_PIN3_PC7 which is the power pin on the config I'm using. I'm going to need a full set of GPIO dumps.

            I need to know power, reset and IRQ to get working.

              Hi sam, Do you need to reflash bootloader if updated to kitkat rom?
              Do you know of any bugs in this rom. Great work by the way I will be testing later today.
              What did you do to improve the rom? Did you lock cpu / gpu to a faster speed?
              Thanks for your hard work. :0)

                          KK i'd imagine.

                          I will test it on the one I have.

                          Edit: Wifi is fine - no BT, but I would test it out as you previously mentioned the previous kernel didn't even give you Wifi.
